Quick check in, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room but the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. My booking was under single room so very pleased to get a double bed. Good selection of breakfast cereal and fresh fruit and yogurt.

This is a great location for a visit to the City as near the Insurance district although some way from the Banking areas of London. Basic but clean with the facilities you need for a nights stay although bathroom area small with just a shower but standard for this chain. Beds OK and staff welcoming and plus here is that...

Stayed at travelodge Tower Bridge for 2 nights. The room was adequate, basic but clean, typically what you expect from travelodge. No complaints. Nice bed and comfy pillows and good base to explore London. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were pleasant. Very good price for a London hotel.....clean and very comfortable, close to Tube stations......well recommended. The hotel was a very good price for London and I was therefore worried about what it would be like and if I would be able to find it as on the map, it looked like a good 5 to 10 minutes walk but it...

Stayed here last night for £99 and it's clean and comfortable but very basic. No hairdryer and 1 towel! The food though was appalling! Cheesy chips were basically oven chips and then microwaved to melt the cheese and the sharing chicken wing dish had 6 wings cooked to an inch of their life with limp brown lettuce! Bar prices reasonable...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
