Travelodge is in a fabulous location for access to the city. Room was exactly what would be expected of a Travelodge, clean and well maintained. This hotel is also very reasonably priced. Access to a hairdryer is given for 2 hours only and all hairdryers are very small and limited. On one morning we were given a hairdryer that did...

Rooms are basic, clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You have a wetherspoons opposite, a Tesco 2 mins away & you're round the corner from tower gate underground station to get you around. Tower bridge is a 5min walk away. Hotel is faultless

We where here for a few nights to rest our heads whilst we visiting London. You know what your getting at a travelodge. The hotel was in a great location with the tube and dlr close by and of course the iconic tower bridge about 5 mins walk away. The only issue would be the lack of sockets to charge...

Rooms very clean and of a fair size. Nice comfy big bed, desk, TV and bathroom. Bathroom is small and basic, a few wee cleanliness issues in there however. Hotel itself is well kept. Very friendly staff! Very little outside noise. Some of my neighbours in the hotel weren't so quiet. Mainly, the couple in the next room were clearly...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
