The hotel was close to tube station so great for access into town but also close enough to walk in. It was lovely and clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was king size and really comfortable. We stayed on the front on the road side it was quiet , maybe avoid back by train line....

I know a lot of people who criticise Travelodge but I've no idea why, the hotels are always clean, comfortable & reasonably priced...the Tower Bridge Travelodge is no exception to that! We stayed 3 nights here on a theatre/sightseeing trip & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As I said the rooms were clean & comfortable...the only complaint I had...

Ive stayed at this travelodge a number of times and it always does the job. Booked 3 months ahead for a Thursday in mid December which is always busy as its xmas party season. Had room on the third floor, toon near the end of the corridor. Nice and quiet, room clean, comfy bed.

Beautiful hotel, in a perfect location. Two minute walk to Tower Gateway (DLR) and about a 4 minute walk to Tower Hill (Underground). Lots of places to eat whether it be a dash with a sandwich or a sit down meal. I had a room on the third floor facing the road and offices. Not the best of views, but...

It's a shame that the incredible service was let down by the awful food, that was quite clearly just nuked in a microwave before serving. Would rather eat a smart price tikka masala next time - though they're probably the same thing. Room was clean.

Good, quiet room on level 5 facing towards the road. Basic amenities such as TV, tea/coffee making facilities and en suite. No phone to contact reception though, so any questions you will need to see them in person. If returning back to the hotel after 10pm, make sure you have your swipe card on you so that you can get...

Even though I have read view wsfc stating this hotel is noisy because it's near the train and tube station I didn't have any problems with noise. The breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly. The only down side was the room and bathroom wasnt as big as i hoped but still plenty of room for two pwople. We are...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
