Overall a really nice stay here, I would definitely use again. Check in was slightly confusing (they email you access codes once your room is ready which we didn’t know initially, we had to call to ask. Make sure you check your junk folder) but once we had the access codes getting into the building/our room was a breeze. Massive comfy bed, all the expected amenities and added touches like fan/heater which was great. I’ll be back!

I was here for a flying visit during a work trip to London. I will 100% be back with my husband. It’s ideally located, outstanding value for money and has absolutely lovely decor and cleanliness. The train noise didn’t bother me. It’s hardly noticeable in my opinion. Even if you consider it to be a negative, the lovely molten brown toiletries are a great extra touch and it’s fab to have a well furnished kitchenette with fridge (and dishwasher - not that I needed it as I got Deliveroo!) I also need to mention the lovely view from the front door or the London eye. Absolutely amazing! The check in process was painless, they sent an email with all the codes the day of arrival. I have absolutely no criticisms at all. I’m really pleased with everything and can’t wait to come back.

I have really enjoyed my stay at Stow Away Waterloo, The Hotel is made of shipping containers and the space is great. It can be noisy at times due to it's location but the overall room is great. The staff on the other side of the phone is very friendly and helpful and they can reply to any questions you may have. The check-in was easy, however, you need to make sure you read your email.

Appalling experience. If you want to stay at Fawlty Towers Waterloo, here’s your chance. The apartment overlooks Waterloo station and it’s noisy as hell. No soundproofing! In fact it’s situated right where the trains coming into Waterloo out on their breaks, so it’s earsplitting screetching noises from often three trains simultaneously. The hotel gave wrong checkin information. It took 4 phone calls to get it right. We checked in firing the afternoon, so it would have been intimidating to be stuck on the pavement late at night. Awful place. Don’t bother. There is absolutely nothing endearing about it at all. Lots of other reviews say similar things do read them carefully!

I really like this concept. It's simple and easy and efficient and so close to Waterloo. But it's already crumbling. I've stayed here a few times and it's less good already. Most recently the shower door didn't fit, so water on the floor. The fridge was broken so door didn't shut. Wider issues persist. There are washing machines but no dryers and no laundry detergent. The internet is total junk. The aircon controls are mad. And the room doesn't get serviced. I still think it's pretty good. But could be way better

Nice hotel & handy location. We booked & paid for 9 nights – however at the last minute - new government travel restrictions were introduced, and I was forced to cancel. This hotel refused any form of reimbursement or a proposal for new dates or even a voucher. They did however rent out 90% of the rooms! Be aware that these sad people put profit before customers and benefit from a pandemic crisis. Regretfully, John

Freezing cold room when entered. Took hours to warm through with the aircon. Couldn’t get on to the WiFi. Contacted staff for a heater but had no response. Noisy trains that only ceased for a couple of hours (I appreciate this but isn’t the fault of the accommodation).

I preface this with the actual shipping container concept and physical hotel is great, the rooms have everything you need for a weekend (or much longer!) stay. The room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean with great black-out blinds and sultry low-level lighting for a very sexy and sleek finish to the whole place. However... I had booked a 2 night stay for my birthday weekend in mid November and as the website says, assumed a 4pm check in. Unfortunately, there was no check in email so I rang to find out when we could check in, only to be told 5.30pm at the earliest - and as anyone who books a weekend away, especially for a special occasion, we already had plans that evening of dinner and the theatre. There was no apology for the inconvenience. This did cause me great stress after travelling to London, but thankfully my partner did step in and we booked somewhere round the corner (at several hundred pounds expense!), so at least we could have a shower, get changed etc before the rest of our evening. I informed the hotel that we made other arrangements via email at 6pm, when there was still no check in email or any communication at all. It wasn't until 8.30pm that evening (after dinner and the first act of the theatre show) did I receive a check-in email as well as a follow up email confirming we were still able to check in to our room the following morning. Still no apology. Thankfully we were able to check in the next day but it was all rather tinged with the stress and anxiety of the first night. I have emailed requesting a refund for the first night as we didn't receive 2 nights of stay, yet have only received an automated reply. It's a shame as I really did like the concept, but can't recommend this hotel in good faith, as I don't want anyone else to be messed around regarding staying here. The hotel take your payment well in advance, which is rather cheeky if something like this happens. There is no reception so no one to speak to - only a mobile number or email.

Quirky but well equipped hotel close to London Waterloo. The accommodation is in converted shipping containers, rooms are fantastic and very comfortable. Comfy beds, great showers. Loved it. It is close to the train station so there can be occasional train noise. It did not bother my sleep!

I and my boyfriend have spent two days at this very unique hotel. I truly liked the idea of these mini apartments, moderns and offer anything that you need. A very comfy place , it is located in central so very easy to move around. There is also an hospital around the corner if needed. Due to the current pandemic, there was not staff within the premises but that was not an issue since all the information were given through email. Definitely recommend and definitely will go back.
