As I'm a keen walker, I took a leisurely 30 minutes walk to Harrod's which was perfect. From there at Knightsbridge underground station, you're literally on the Picadilly line which links you to the heart of London.
Stayed at this property for two weeks. The location is good lots of restaurant nearby and commuting has got easier with the new tube station close by.Good sized rooms with modern amenities. However one could barely here the phone ring. Couldn’t be rectified despite repeated efforts. Service was dependent on who was at reception or the breakfast area. Ranged from average to good.. Laundry was a disaster. Although it’s stated as same day service you have a better chance of winning a lottery than getting it the same day. So do be careful especially if you are checking out the next day
Our room was spacious, comfortable and exactly as shown, with all expected amenities. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, even at a low floor. Staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful which is a bonus.
We stayed for one night during our weekend in London for the Queen’s funeral. Lovely hotel. Efficient checking in and staff very friendly. We were given vouchers for a free drink at the bar which was a really nice gesture. Our room was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. Huge bed with lovely linen. Modern bathroom and great tv which included sky channels. Breakfast was really nice with extensive choice of food. We would gladly return.
I visit London 4-5 times per year and I always stay at Pestana Chelsea. On arrival I was greeted by the manager and to my surprise and delight I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. Such an amazing room. I didn't want to leave! The suite was immaculate and extremely spacious. It was like an apartment! The suite included all of the amenities I needed. The beds are the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. In the bathroom there was a shower, bath and a television. 2 minutes away is Battersea Power Station, an array of restaurants, pubs and shops. Public transport is also located nearby. The service is always second to none and the staff are always friendly, polite and happy to help....no matter how big or small the job is. The housekeeping team are always accommodating and helpful. Such a lovely team! Thank you…
The staff are great. Ash Sarswat deserves a special mention for his professional work ethic and making me feel as if I was at home. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The beds were super comfortable. Location was close to Battersea Park. It is one of those hotels I would be happy to book again for Greeted with treats and handwritten note left by the general manager himself in our room. The breakfast was great and the team was lovely. Look forward to my next stay!
I stayed for a work trip, the staff there and especially a young lady by the name of Ruth were brilliant. I had to come down in the early morning. She made the effort to pour each capsule of milk out for me to a glass because my stomach tablets weren’t helping. It took along time (bless her). While dealing with me she was also dealing with other people. The only issue would be the gym. It feels like it’s more of a tick a box for the hotel rather than something invested in. The stay and room were beautiful and big, no noise complaints. And alarms/warnings if your doors aren’t closed to your room.
I travel to London a lot for work and have always struggled to find a good hotel. They are either ridiculously overpriced for the facilities you get, have tiny box rooms or are really noisy from the outside hustle and bustle. However, when I stayed at Pestana Chelsea Bridge for the first time, I knew that I had finally found the one! The rooms are decorated to a high standard, with desk space provided and a large TV. The small details, like supplying bath robes and even slippers makes a big difference to my stay. Alongside the slanted bath and blue bathroom lights, I am able to relax after a long day. The breakfast selection is great with both warm food and continental and the staff are always friendly to me. There is also a gym that, despite being small, has everything you need to keep up your weekly routine and there is also a swimming pool and spa facilities, although I am yet to test these out. Another problem I had with London hotels was getting an invoice at the end of my stay that also has my company address on. Luckily, the friendly receptionists take these detail upon your arrival and even better, I now ask them to email it to me so it is even easier to expense. This has saved me a lot of time going back and forth with emails to hotels in an attempt to get an invoice, let alone an invoice with the correct address on. The location is perfect too. You are a quick 10 min walk from the Battersea Power Station Tube and the Northern Line, which is great for connecting me to my places of work. I also sleep a lot better at Pestana compared to other hotels, as the hotel itself is just offset from the main road. This makes a massive difference as it is the first hotel in London where I haven't been disturbed by the nearby traffic. The building also seems very sturdy, as you can barely hear the trains passing by, nor can you hear everything your neighbour is doing in the next room. Overall, this hotel is brilliant. I have often paid more in London for a lot less, so the pricing is great and the facilities are amazing too. I won't go anywhere else and I have also told my colleagues who also have experienced the same problems with London hotels. Pestana, please don't change, you're doing everything right!…
The front desk staff was not friendly and they were rude. We was a group and we take 5 rooms and all our group members feel the same bad experience with front desk staff. The do mistakes with room payments between the rooms and the didn’t print the invoice for us when we check out
Fabulous hotel. Everything you need is there. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice. The only gripe I have is the distance from the tube station due to recent mobility issues. This is not the hotel's fault. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
