This is a typical W. by that I mean that there is modern, eclectic design mixed with impractical elements. The sink is in the middle of the room and while I had a spa suite, the steam room and bathroom were massive for London. The cinema screen was a cool feature but the iPad controller stopped working a number of...

The best part of this hotel, obviously, is it's location, right in the heart of leister square. We walked everywhere in the west end, and soho. Good staff, and security, keep the party crowd from extending their party into your guest room. Ask Manuel for neighborhood tips. Cool guy. The rooms are small, but stylish. Room service wasn't worth the...

Hello Wright 1, Great to hear that you had fun here at W London! W Lounge and Room 913 are indeed very popular venues visited not only by guests but also many locals, and I am happy to see that you enjoyed it. Thank you for your comments, specially for that shout out to Manuel who I'm sure will be...

As expected the location of the hotel made it very touristy. Hotel bedrooms were the best feature of the hotel. Disappointed with the service which was not typical of a 5 star hotel. Would I be returning NO, there are better 5 star hotels in the West End

Ideally located on (not near) Leicester Square. Perfect if you are looking to explore the hustle of London, many attractions, or catch a show. If you are looking for a quiet, quaint getaway, this is not the right hotel, or location. Design of the rooms is very modern and unique in the sense of space utilization; we really liked it,...

Stayed one night just before Christmas to chill. Location is spot on, right in the middle. The obvious stylish design is undoubted, but does come with a few strange elements. We had a suite; the bath is in the centre of a large bathroom. There is a separate shower room and toilet behind the full length mirrored wall. However, the...

great location, small hotel for a "W".....but rooms and service were outstanding. Walking distance to almost all the great Theaters....see a show, visit a pub and enjoy your stay at the "W", while you visit one of the worlds great cities.

Stayed here as part of a business trip and was very happy with the location and service. I thought it might be noisy because of its location but I was pleasantly surprised that it was quiet for sleeping. Buzzy bar and night life.

The location is simply fantastic, just between Leicester Square and Chinatown. It is so convenient to move around London from that place, and the area is by itself very attractive at any time of the day and the night. Modern hotel, expensive for what it is but no more than other London hotels I suppose. Stayed Saturday night and it was very noisy both inside the hotel with music being blasted from the hotel bar until around 2am and outside from all the local casinos - which went on until around 06:30am! So not much sleep had!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
