My husband and I stayed at Hotel Indigo a few weeks ago. We picked it because it was convenient to his office and near lots of site seeing places for me. As reported, it was clean but it was lacking in so many areas. There was a tiny lobby with a front desk, two small chairs and some bad plants....

It is hard for hotels to make a difference. I stayed in a junior suite which was excellent in every way. Complementary mini-bar, and all the amenities needed. Wifi is good, but breakfast was not included. In summary, a good business hotel, conveniently located.

It's small hotel with quite modern style. The hotel has good location. It's just few minutes walk from Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations. Fenchurch Street railway and Tower Gateway DLR-stations are also very near. That's why Indigo is good hotel to stay if you are going to ExCel expo arena. There is also restaurant in the hotel and at...

Just arrived home after a 2 night stay at Hotel Indigo. My husband booked this for my christmas present and emailed ahead to let them know it was a special occasion. We were greeted by a very cheerful and very helpful girl on reception called Viktorija. We were given an upgrade to King executive. The room was amazing, very comfortable...

Only stayed one night at this well situated hotel, but will happily stay again. Upgraded to a delightful room, with lots of space, a very comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Free soft drink mini bar and expresso machine, plus plenty of fluffy towels and Aveda toiletries made the sat complete.

Friendly staff - well equiped room - quiet - good breakfast What else would you need? Just one con: floors are quite noisy. I could hear the footsteps of our neighbours. Hope I didn't bother them too much with mine...

Dear Eric V, Except for the con that you mentioned – the noisy floors – you picked on two of our best features for which we are often commended for: service and our bedroom. Wish we could do something about the floors but that would be the result of the architectural design. Kindest regards.

Spotless, well equipped beautifully decorated rooms which well above average in size for London. Attentive staff and lovely food. All in a great location in a relatively quiet street, however, still very hand for the City.

Hotel Indigo is a chain with a nice reputation. Though it was tough to find, we enjoyed the location. It's tucked away on a side street, which makes it very quiet and cozy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room has blackout curtains. The service left something to be desired, but we enjoyed our one night and would recommend...

Had reason to stay in the Tower Bridge area of London again so without even trying another hotel I booked in at the Indigo. From checking in to checking out the experience was great. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
