This is a good hotel, nothing spectacular about it but nothing to criticize. Great staff, very helpful. Comfy beds, and reasonably quiet given the central location. Breakfast did not look vey appetizing, but there were alot of options nearby.

We stayed 3 nights at the Kingsley. Well located 5 minutes walk from Holborn tube station & a short walk from Oxford Street and Covent Garden. The hotel had the most attentive and considerate staff I have ever met when staying in London. The room was large and very comfortable. Only negative was a brick wall outside the room window...

The Kingsley is a hotel in the Bloomsbury section of London. The building seems old, but the rooms are updated and comfortable. Elevators are slow, with an annoying overly British voice recording telling us what the elevator is doing. The staff is friendly. The hot water is abundant, and that was a problem as cold water was rare. The small shower...

We stayed at this hotel with friends for three nights over the weekend. The hotel is in a good location for Euston only a short walk away. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean with a modern en suite bathroom. Our family — 2 adults, 1 eight-year-old — stayed at The Kingsley for 5 nights in early August. We had a Junior Suite which included a U.S-queen size bed (called a “king” in U.K.) and a full-size sleeper sofa. The bed was quite comfortable; the sleeper sofa was about what you would expect: not what I would want to sleep...

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. The room was well furnished with everything we needed. Large shower in a modern bathroom. Quiet hotel, great for a good nights rest. Breakfast room was lovely and plenty of choice. Overall, a stylish hotel that I would use again as it was only a short walk to the theatre and convenient for the tube.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
