We had a great experience at this hotel, where we stayed for three nights. After emailing reservations and stating that we were travelling abroad for 7 weeks and would have a bit of luggage and did not want a tiny room where we would be tripping over it (and each other!) Miriam suggested a Club Suite on which they were...

Lovely, elegant central London hotel. Perfect location, just a few minutes walk to Oxford Circus. The first visit, stayed in a deluxe room, it was very small and dark with no view out but the alternative I was offered was a 'smoking' room, which really did smell of stale smoke! I am amazed that hotels still have 'smoking' rooms. The...

A quick stroll from the hotel takes you into the heart of London or to a tube station so access to everywhere from this hotel is so easy. The hotel is a classic! and the staff are brilliant because they don't just treat you like another guest, they make one feel cared for with special mention to the Palm Court...

I very much enjoyed my 6 night stay at the Langham. This ornate landmark hotel stands close to the intersection of Oxford and Regent, making access to the underground easy, but also leaves the option of walking over to SOHO, Mayfair, Piccadilly, or even Knights-bridge for the shopping/hiking enthusiast. The rooms are comfy, with rather large bathrooms and an actual...

Everything about this hotel is amazing from the welcome we received on checking in to the minute we left every member of staff we met were first class. Very polite and genuine too. There is also a...

My mother and I came to London to celebrate our friend's 80th birthday, and we chose to stay at Langham Hotel. It was ideal, because it is close to St. Pancras Station and only a few minutes walk from Wigmore Hall, where the concert and birthday celebration was to take place. When we arrived at the hotel they helped us...

We had a great stay here for our 20th wedding Anniversary, we were upgraded to a better room and i could not fault the room or service we got from all members of staff. I would say that the menu in the palm court could have been better, more extensive choices would have been nice. Breakfast was ok, but again,...

Welcome and departure efficient, courteous and a pleasure. Also safe keeping of bags (we left after check out so could do activities before returning home) was impressive. Hotel information and history of hotel left in room + all the attention to detail was usual. Unfortunately we had an older room that could do with refurbishment hence room quality down grade....

This is the 5th time staying at this wonderful hotel. Yes it is in an excellent location, but The Langham is much more than that. If you want elegance, exceptional service, good food and much more, then you must stay here. My lingering memory as ever in addition to that already mentioned, is the beautiful aroma that lingers in the...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
