Whilst I wouldn't necessarily rush back, as there are better hotels for similar prices, I was pleased that The Crescent was well located, handy for local bars, restaurants and shops and the room was neat & clean as was the en-suite.....didn't bother with breakfast so cant comment, however the staff I met were friendly enough

The Crescent Hotel is located about 2 blocks from the Russell Street tube station and so it was a straight shot from Heathrow. I got there early in the morning and the proprietors let me store my baggage so I could explore the city until check in at 2. The room was comfortable- no frills, but that's to be expected...

The first time I stayed at the Crescent Hotel was in 1971 and over all those years I’ve paid many visits to this place, the last time for a week two months ago. In my opinion it is the perfect little hotel in London. The location is very convenient. You will be 5 minutes from the Russell Square tube station...

Attended training in Russell Square and required a bed for the night. This hotel was very local and very reasonably priced. I stayed in room 34. Room was right on the entrance to the top floor, everytime someone entered the floor, the door slammed which woke me up. There was also at times a strange noise which I thought was...

This hotel is close to Euston Station and Russell Square underground. We were very tired after a long flight, so this was a good hotel for an overnight stay before moving on. Really interesting area to stay in, close to many attractions such as the British Museum,Covent Garden, etc

The Crescent Hotel proves that you can still get good value in the centre of a generally overpriced capitol city. First of all, the location is great - very near lots of things like Euston station, eateries and so on, but on a very quiet Georgian crescent (hence the name). My room was lovely, brightly decorated, spacious (I opted for...

If you don't own a place in London, this is your next best option. Or better! When you walk in, it has the feel of a Georgian London home, complete with a living room with patterned wallpaper, sofas, and a TV. Rooms are comfortable and have more than most old hotels. Even if your room doesn't have en suite facilities,...

My daughter, granddaughter and myself stayed at the Crescent last weekend, just for the one Saturday night. We were in room 15 which is on the first floor so not too many stairs! The room has just been redecorated and refurbished and was lovely. There were two single beds and a put-you-up bed which was fine. The bathroom was beautiful...

The whole hotel is old - it even smells old. The hallways are narrow. Our room was hot, badly ventilated and moist. The room had wall to wall carpet. The shower was really cramped. The breakfast was good, but the whole hotel smelled like bacon. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. St. Pancras, Kings Cross and Euston train stations is...
