The property - a set of townhouses in a quiet residential street in Notting Hill, five minutes walk from the tube. Decor is smart, quality, homey. Staff welcoming and cheerful. Dining/sitting area very like a house drawing room. The room - a lesser grade room on the first floor front. About 180 sq feet, dark red wallpaper, two double floor... More

We were attending a friend’s wedding nearby and did not fancy staying in the ‘usual’ hotels nearby. If you decide to stay west side of London I would highly recommend this Hotel. It is quite, one minute away from the Portobello Road, great restaurants nearby, and easy access to the rest of London. But the great thing is the rooms!!... More

We stayed at the Portobello hotel this summer visiting London on a short family holiday. We particularly enjoyed breakfast in the Lounge with tea for two, a choice of coffees and the most delicious brioche! We don't usually manage to eat breakfast as a family so this made our stay extra special for us! The rooms are a good size;... More

This hotel has a gentleman's club feel downstairs, but the bedrooms are pure boutique. We needed a place o stay near the Ginstitute in Portobello Road, and this did not disappoint. Clean comfortable and with every amenity in the rooms. Very delighted. Good friendly staff, but don't dally in the mornings otherwise you might not get a good selection from... More

Krisztian and Alex were so lovely to us. Room service is no extra charge which is excellent for lazy mornings and weary nights. Complimentary biscuits, coffee, and water in the room + cushy robes. Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
