Rooms were great, front desk staff very attentive and helpful. The location of the hotel is on a busy street, thus tough to get bags in and out of car. Still, very close to British Mjuseum and shows...just don't expect Mayfair or Knighbridge.

Dear Charlotte, Thank you for staying at The Bloomsbury Street Hotel on your recent trip to London and for taking the time to share your review with us. We are indeed in the heart of the West End and within walking distance of theatres, Covent Garden Opera House, and the restaurants of Soho. The shops of Oxford Street are close...

Booked theatre break through Superbreaks as a 'mother & daughter end of GCSE celebration!' and chose this hotel because it offered twin room and was in a good location. We had an amazing w/e - arrived very early and although we couldn't get into our room, staff were very helpful and concierge service looked after cases while we went into...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback and for taking the time to post it on Tripadvisor. I am delighted that both you and your mum enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcome you back very soon! The Bloomsbury Street is a contemporary hotel inspired by the history around it. We work hard to ensure that...

This hotel is very well run, the staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean but I do think that the cost of a cooked breakfast at £24 per person is a bit steep. What is really good about this hotel is its location - 3 minutes walk to the British Museum, 10 min to Covent Garden and...

We were a group of 40-somethings meeting up to explore our capital and catch up with each other over tea/cake/a pint! The location of the hotel is fantastic, being within easy walking distance of Euston station. The immediate area is rich with independant cafes, bars and restaurants (but not for night owls or party animals as they observe last orders...

Room cocked-up on arrival (3 beds for a clearly booked family of 4), moved to another room after much convincing to get them to agree that I wouldn't have booked 3 beds for 4 people and their attempts to move us to another hotel! When moved, shoddy room service (but in fairness, decent housekeeping responsiveness). Breakfast service, my my, what...

The hotel is really conveniently located for Covent Garden & the West End. A really great location. Upon arrival the first impressions were great, the lobby is very striking & the staff were friendly & attentive. The double room, although comfortable & very nicely decorated was so small that R2D2 would get claustrophobic panic attacks and as such did not...

Stayed over night on a business trip. Check-in was quick and friendly. Stayed in a Kingsize room. Bed was extremely comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it! Average, beige, uninteresting corporate hotel in fine old building and great location but wheezing air con, soap bolted to the wall, expensive bar service. This sort of tourist hotel gives the great city a bad name.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
