Decor is great - Service is lacking : Breakfast dumped in a plastic box outside the door with a warm carton of UHT Milk for the cereal. Bathroom tiny Shower broken Positives - A quiet room, which was warm. Have stayed in worse - But does not live up to its publicity.

The rooms are gloriously colourful. I applaud that. However a remarkable idea put into action woefully. The man who owns this hotel is a multi-millionaire from what I gather from the hotel's website. It shows him with his Lamborghini. Yet when I stayed here there was only ever one member of staff who was cool in his manner. He was...

I will start with a positive....nope, can't think of one! We booked this through Booking.com for one night bed & breakfast for £78. Location is good, price was reasonable (oh there are two positives) but that's it. On arrival you enter a seedy entrance hall and welcomed (sort of) and taken to reception. The first room we were shown was...

If i would judge an hotel by its looks, this one would get 5 stars, The rooms are all different with a unique decor. But let's see why I think the hotel is poor:~ - 100£ a night for a very small room - No elevator - To turn the hot water I had to call reception because there's a...

I booked a last minute deal as a stopover for a friend's birthday celebrations. I had read the reviews beforehand but thought I would give the place a go myself. The hotel decor is rather interesting, gives you plenty to look at. There was a good welcome at reception and I was escorted to my room and shown where things...

We loved it. Such a great and amusing place. There is so much to look at. Its has a very old world/museum charm and the service was great. 30 min walk to Big Ben. I will look for availability next time we return.

Looking for a good value hotel to spend two nigets in over new years eve and day I came across The Pavilion. How glad I am I did. Whilst not exactly central it was handily placed for the tube and not that far away walk from Marble Arch. The room was smallish , but more than adequate for a two...

Not usually one to complain but this is an overpriced freezing shabby shelter that I had the misfortune of staying a night in over Xmas. Tried to get them to turn on the heating 3 times during the course of the stay got response about a timer (I see exact same complaint for same room (flower power) was made 3yrs...

Booked for 4 nights left after one night. Asked to change rooms on arrival as it was no bigger than a cupboard for two of us and ended up in one only slightly larger with three beds. Bathroom very very small and dated, the shower barely worked, the hot and cold taps were reversed and every time to toilet flushed...

Stayed here for a theatre break in the Indian summer room. The hotel is themed and the room packed with a four poster bed and Indian memorabilia. It is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the tube at Edgware road and you can walk along into Oxford Street in ten minutes or so. I love the retro feel of...

“The Metallica Room, in the basement had no hot water. Although the room was heated, the tile floor, in December, is very cold for bare feet. The private WC outside the room is unheated and very cold. But besides that, it was fine. Bed is pretty squeaky but very comfortable.”
