We stayed at The Rookery for 4 nights. There were pros and cons but overall a good stay. Pros were the location, good area to grab breakfast or dinner after a long day in the city or just before heading out. Super close to The...More
Central hotel in Farringdon, very comfortable and cozy old well decorated house, very good service, best tea and prosecco during this sunny week in London, lovely chat with the owner, highly recommended
Stayed for one night over the bank holiday. The hotel is just as beautiful as all the reviews suggested-even more so.

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky
models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
I don' think the hotel has a designated parking area, but I am sure you can check on the internet for parking garages in the area (Smithfield Market). Of course the parking may cost more than the room!
