Receptionist was pleasant and professional upon arrival. I had booked one night at this hotel while visiting in London for a meeting with old friends and a theatre visit! Chose the President for the location and the fact that the price was right and including breakfast too! The hotel is right by Russell Square so very close to the tube...

I stayed in the president hotel four days during Easter. It´was not a regular journey I would choose to do because I don´t like visiting big cities. The hotel well situated. The under ground station (russell sq) was real close. Everything was within walking distance. We averaged about 15 kilometers walking everyday. We got every where we wanted to go...

A basic, clean hotel with lots of hot water,a helpful desk staff to find attractions and dire tions, and a great location near Russell Square, the tube station, Waitrose grocery store, Tes o, and the British Museum. If you want to share a bed, be sure to ask, or you will find yourself with twin beds. Also, remember to take a...

My single room with bathroom was clean and freshly renovated in tasteful colours and bathroom fittings. No refrigerator in room, but tea and coffee making facilities provided. The hotel is really old fashioned but the location is wonderful and so convenient to underground and Piccadilly/Heathrow direct line for my busy schedule. Range of hot and cold choices at the breakfast...

The location was great as it was a 5/10 minute straight forward walk to euston station. It was perfect for walking to soho and oxford street without having to get the tube! The room was basic (not as good as the photos) but I wasn't expecting to be spending much time there anyway. The room included a tv and tea/coffee...

I booked two rooms for myself and my daughter and her friend to celebrate my daughter's birthday, when arriving at the hotel there was lots of building and decorating work being carried out, I asked at reception why I was not told about this on booking, I had called the hotel twice before to enquire about securing a connecting room...

Went on a 2 day break with Super Breaks. The hotel was fine, check in was quick. The room was clean and an adequate size. We had a twin room. The only downside was the fact the heating was on it was too warm over night. We had complimentary full English breakfast which was tasty but the tea was not...

Stayed 2 nights. Rooms are basic but adequate. Ideal location walking into centre. Some great pubs close by for eating out. Tube station close by for travelling further afield. We went to Royal Albert Hall in 30 mins.

Stayed here as it's close to hospital. Everything looked good (checking in, room). Until you try to get some sleep. The noise from the main road is horrific and it goes on until about 1am and then after you have had a little bit of sleep the cleaners come round at 8 am and wake you up with their hoovers...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
