There's nothing special about this hotel or by the others in the Imperial chain, but they're unbeatable when it comes to price and location. Rooms are basic but provide everything you'll need -- if you're visiting London you won't be spending much time in your room anyway. I usually end up staying here, and will gladly return. The service is...

Hi, London do not have the cheapest hotels around. So, after living in Middle East for 10 years and now in Asia. You are used to get a lot for the price you pay. President Hotel is a hotel with a good price, great location aprox. 10 min walk from Oxford Street. Hotel in general is ok. Nice helpful staff....

Spent two nights here in April of 2017. Clean and tidy. They were just starting a refurbishment but did not get any details. Rooms are good. Not brilliant but then you don't on holiday to stay in the hotel so as long as it has a bed and is clean and comfortable I'm happy; and this was. Your sheets and...

Quite old room furniture, very low service level, stuff is impolite and impatient. We ordered twin bed including breakfast and we got 2 single beds and continental breakfast, which is a sophisticated word for coffee and cereals. Normal breakfast cost another 5 pound per person. All our request to fix this these errors were simply turned down, the supervisor simply...

Spent 5 nights at The President in a twin room. Here's what I wanted....clean room/bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet in a convenient location. I got it all. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's what you get in a major city, so be prepared unless you want to spend a lot more $. Suitcases stayed on the floor in corners of...

Stayed here for five nights last week with Davey Dite. Couldn't fault anything much apart from minor details like the bacon could be doing with being better quality. Bed not bad but was 70's style with springs pinging now and again! Room clean. Staff helpfull, I asked for, and got, the same room as last year (647) a quiet room...

A very pleasant surprise. Conveniently situated, literally a couple of minutes from Russell Square tube station on the Piccadilly line. I had a single room on the 7th floor with a great view over Russell Square. The bathroom was small but functional but the room itself was fine. Nice dining room serving a good Full English breakfast. Nice seating areas...

Thought we would try this hotel again, as we normally go to the Bedford or Taverstock. Room in this hotel: Was small, with a small wardrobe no draws to put underclothes etc in, this was like a attic room. But they have now put a hairdryer in the room, always been a kettle, coffee tea etc. Picture quality on the...

I had a short stay of two nights with breakfast at this hotel. The room and bathroom were excellent. Very comfortable although too warm with no means of turning the heating down or off. Breakfast was suitable but found the customer service atrocious. The staff at breakfast gave the impression that they didn't want to be there and were not...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
