This is a cheap and well located hotel in London, which is rare to find. The subway is very close and there are convenience stores, restaurants and bars on all sides. The hotel itself is ok, it offers what is inside the price. There is no air conditioning, which was bad during the heatwave I faced in London, but my...

Very nice hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, Clean and warm. Breakfast was nice. Big windows. Located in a very quiet square. Nice neighbourhood. Near the Underground (5 minutes walk to Bayswater station). A good number of restaurants near by. If I come back to London I will stay here again.

The room is very small.we are suffering from the tight of the sizes here. The breakfast is good enough,i recommended to add vegetables to the list. The location is perfect,so we can arrive easily everywhere. The majority of the staff members is nice. We have to stay more 5 nights here,we hope it will be o.k.

Hotel was in a good location. 5 minute walk from the underground station. Walking distances to dozens of restaurants. Staff was very friendly. They serve free tea and coffee in the lobby. We arrived early and our rooms were ready so they held on to our bags for a few hours. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. I would...

My family and I stayed here for seven nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in the lovely area of Bayswater which is serviced by two Tube stops on two different lines and numerous bus lines within the area. There's a mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was kind and friendly, and the hotel was extremely quiet....

I was there in one week on two different days. Both rooms were extremely clean with good bed and bathroom. And it is a nice location near two undergroundstations. Breakfast 10/10 and very nice repectionists (important when you need something) and for a good price. And before I forget it: it was a cold day in hell and in London:-))...

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights in two separate bookings and found we had a reasonably good experience. The first room was very tiny which was a double room. There was hardly any space to move around. The second time was a triple bedroom and this gave us ample space and was very convenient. But otherwise the...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
