I will attempt to make this Un-emotive and factual :- This was supposed to be a very Special trip for My boyfriend and I as it was his birthday, and this was the first that we had spent together, I wanted to make it very special, so sent an e-mail to the hotel requesting that a balloon and bottle of...

Checked in here about 2AM as we missed our train after one too many drinks in Soho. Receptionist was friendly and out room was clean and well sized. We were given a twin room so we just pushed beds together which were very comfortable. The dining area was getting refurbished so we were served our breakfast in our rooms which...

We booked a triple room and were located in the basement area. The room was in a poor condition for what we paid and I will not be staying here again. We were offered a complimentary breakfast after complaining about the standard of the room we were allocated, the food turned out to be pretty good. Overall not good value...

2 minutes from the tube station. 5 minutes from theatres, Covent gardens etc. staff very friendly. Room was small but comfortable. Only complaint would be no tea making facilities in the room, other than that well worth the money.

It is an awful shabby hotel. The elevators were not working, the phones were out of order as well. I asked the reception to get me a cab for 4 a.m. as I needed to catch an early flight and double check that I was awake at 4. They forgot both. A they did fetch me a cab in the...

Clean, comfortable rooms. A little small but that's ok - reflected in the price Breakfast very nice - freshly cooked. Restaurant too small, queue for tables. Bar closed so what's the point having it - could make bigger breakfast room What a shock that no Tea and Coffee in rooms - this is really very penny pinching. Extortionate rates for...

Haven't slept under a dog blanket for a very long time. Had to peel back the stained sheets to reveal an unsleepable bed, before replacing the dog blankets and sleeping in my clothes on top. Came away feeling very dirty and unhealthy. My colleages had a very similar experience in other rooms. Avoid at all costs!

Just back from a weekend in London to see a Show and stayed at this hotel. I chose it because of proximity to Oxford Street and theatre. Our so called double room was really a single with single headboard and not enough room for two pillows side by side. Toilet roll holder broken, no plug in wash basin, just a...

Our...

Stayed here whist attending a conference, the first time not in a group in London, the staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Not familiar with getting about all the staff were informative. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. So good I've booked to stay there again for this year's conference.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
