Great location, at the foot of "The Shard", and very close to London Bridge station, the tube and Borough Market. Perfect hotel for us as we had a party to attend within a short walk from the hotel. The only downside was the lack of...More
Having seen all of the great reviews for this place, paired with its excellent location I thought it would be the perfect place to stay for a weekend trip to London.

Dear Mr Hall

We looked for hotel which didn't,t need any changes on the tube. (Jubilee Line) to get to the stadium. The London Bridge Hotel is next to the Shard a good landmark.. We went for the price(under£100) per night. 12th&13th and it was good to see...More

Myself and my wife spent two nights at this hotel, excellent location next to London Bridge railway and tube station and Borough market. Room was a good size, very clean, staff were polite and accommodating, breakfast was good. Overall a great stay.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
No biscuits in the room. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and room service. For biscuits, scones and the like I walk up the street two doors to a lovely place called Pure. Fresh fruit and great coffee are available... More

We arrived to leave our luggage with concierge before 10am, and was informed our room was ready so were able to check in immediately. The official time I think is 2pm but they are very friendly and helpful, if your room is ready, they will let you check in on arrival, regardless of time. One of the finest hotels, (certainly for the price) I have stayed in in London !
