It's a B&B nicknamed as hotel. Not nearly as bad as some reviews make it sound. Not clean, but as far as I could tell, bug-free. Staff amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me with many things from directions to wake-up calls and WiFi settings. I missed breakfast time but the manager told me to go help myself to whatever...

This is a terrible place. I was warned of London's small spaces, but this was just another thing. The bathroom was cut out of a corner of the room, and the shower (and also the sink) was just a capsule. The door to close the shower area was filthy, and the answer after complaining was "its just water stagnation." They...

Went down for the Royal Wedding, and couldnt get another hotel, so we where stuck with it. We actually stayed in the Grenville hotel, which looks like it has been incorporated into the Guilford House hotel. Even as a B&B it would be terrible. Its in a very bad position for any public transport, breakfast is particularly mean, being only...

was very disappointed with this hotel. have stayed in much better budget hotels in Europe. Breakfast was a joke. Staff did not say a single word to us. Continental breakfast was a total waste of money( cheapest breakfast i have ever seen) no choice was totally dissapointed, rooms not very clean. found part packet of condoms in bedside cupboard, room...

This is by far the worse hotel I've ever been to, I've seen hostels that are worse. We had a room with 1 double and 2 single beds, ensuite bathroom all crammed into a room the size of a garage. The room smelt funny, and the carpets were sticky. The sheets were stained, and the blanket looked like it had...

Well we were unfortunate enough to stay in the Grenville Hotel next door, and were surprised when entering the room that we had actually paid £79 for an obvious £30 room. The bedding had brown stains on them and towels were dirty, we had a paint splattered chair to sit on in the room. The sink had plaster stains on...

I was shocked. I was annoyed with myself that I didn't pay more to stay somewhere else. I was in the basement, small, dingy, couldn't risk leaving the window open so had to sleep with the heating on. Mould in the shower, water was cold - not very nice to shower. I got them to turn the heating off but...

Good location , but that's pretty much it. You can hear everything that's happening in the hotel when you're in your room. The sheets are also not enough over yourself to stay warm during winter nights so be aware of that.

If you have spent your whole life in a refugee camp, then this might seem like a decent place to stay. Otherwise, avoid this place like you would avoid a speeding articulated lorry because it will make you physically sick to stay here. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to.

I have visited several Hotels in London. When in business they are typically **** stars, and as now for leisure ** stars when I have to pay from my own heavy taxed wallet. In general the value for money of center London hotels is miserable. This was more than my wife and I expected. Being both terrible snorers we cannot...
