As part of our UK road trip we were bookended into this hotel, firstly for two nights and then another three at the end of our tour. We found the hotel to be a good base as the Earls Court tube station is just a five minute walk around the corner. Having said this though, we found the hotel needed...

A very handy location for a trip to London and Wimbledon Tennis. Two minutes walk from the tube/railway station. Comfortable and reasonable price. Breakfast was a tad hectic but the food was fine. Would stay again without hesitation.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my brother. Breakfast was wonderful. I usually had porridge, tea, fruits and baked bread. My brother had full English breakfast and he said it was good! When we arrived the girl at the desk was very helpful, so was the girl at the check out. (both Italian girls, thank you sweetie pie!) This...

I stayed there with my Father during a Healthy Food Exhibition. When we walked in, the first sight in my head was dirty dirty dirty carpet. There is no way you can just walk around on your barefoot. They did provide free wi-fi, but you had to go to the counter to get the code every single day. Internet was...

Nice hotel in very handy position . Two minutes to Earls Court tube, Gregs, Co-op, McDonalds and others. Local pubs down the road. Room 106 was plenty big enough for two with luggage. Bathroom with bath and shower. Buffett breakfast was excellent with helpful staff. Nice communal areas with patio garden with canopy for us smokers. Reception staff were good....

We would definitely stay at the Best Western Burns hotel again. A couple of short blocks from the Earls Court tube station on the Piccadilly line direct from Heathrow. Earls Court station has lifts and ramps, making it an easy arrival with luggage. We arrived fairly early in the a.m., and were thrilled to find our room already prepared. We...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
