The Park International Hotel enjoys a prime location lauded by many guests for its proximity to transport links and attractions in a tranquil neighborhood. However, some travelers report that the rooms, often described as cramped and dated, suffer from noise, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness issues.
Although the service is generally commended for being friendly and helpful, there are notable lapses, particularly with housekeeping and management. Guests have mixed views on the hotel's atmosphere and the value for money is frequently questioned due to perceived overpriced amenities, which some find lacking, especially the breakfast and bar selections.

Very pleased with the choice of this hotel.
Booked the hotel for a family trip, 2 adults and 2 children (18 and 10 years).
We chose Park International primarily based on price and location.
Read some reviews but it is almost impossible to determine when it is very mixed.
Our experience was in any case as follows:
We arrived at the hotel already at 11 am ie that the rooms were not ready. However, we were able to check in and solve everything practical like breakfast (£12 per day per adult). She who received us was very nice and informed that we got adjoining rooms and that we could leave the luggage for so long. The lobby was large with many seating areas and did not smell bad as some reviews have written. Very fresh.
We came back at 1330 and then the rooms were already ready.
Yes there was a strong smell of solvent or something at the elevator on the ground floor but there was absolutely nothing that disturbed.
The rooms were nice and clean. Like many hotels abroad, the beds are 140cm wide, but they were very comfortable and big plus because there were 4 proper pillows in the bed.
The breakfast, mix of British and Continental, had everything one could wish for and was absolutely worth the price.
Free wifi with good connection. The youngest son could even play on the internet and at the same time talk on discords, and you could stream movies without problems.
The hotel is only 4-5min walk from Gloucester Road station making it easy to get from Heathrow and into the city centre as it is the Piccadilly Line.
When we checked out at 11am after 4days we would first fly at 8pm. We could leave the luggage free of charge which I have seen that not all hotels in London offer.
We were all 4 very happy with the hotel and will gladly come back here again! Thank you for a great stay.

Hotel's Favourite
We had an awesome stay at the Park International Hotel. We booked directly on their site, which allowed us to get a free upgrade to the Chairman's Suite - definitely book direct. The suite was gorgeous, with huge windows overlooking the street and a super comfy king sized bed. The location also was perfect - we walked to tons of shops and restaurants. Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and accommodating. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we will be back. Highly recommended!

The reception staff were great and very friendly. We checked in a bit early but this wasn’t even mentioned which was a nice change - some places charge for this!
The location is good as just round corner from Gloucester Rd tube
Whilst the room was nice it was very compact with little space between the end of the bed and the wall where the TV was - difficult to get to bathroom or to the door without some crab like movement
The housekeeping really let the hotel down and may be one of the worst I’ve experienced. Used towels that were left in shower tray where rolled up and put on side for us to reuse, milk was not replenished and used cups were not replaced

We're pleased to hear that you had a warm and welcoming experience with our reception staff, and that our convenient location near Gloucester Road tube station added to your stay. We appreciate your positive remarks about the room, although we understand that the compact space made moving around a bit challenging. We hope you enjoyed your birthday break overall, and we would love the opportunity to provide you with a better experience on your next visit. Kind regards, Michal Pleszak Operations Manager

If there is a hotel regulatory body that I can contact, I will. This hotel is a scam. Owned by an international group ( Thai) this hotel is really a misrepresentation of a 4 star hotel. it needs to be downgraded to 3 or even less. Yes, it has fancy chandeliers and it is located in a nice area but the cleanliness aspects is what should be atop of the rating. I complained during my stay and I am taking my complaint to corporate management. This is basically a hotel that is misrepresenting itself and it is frankly very dirty. There is a horrible smell in the lobby and through the hotel and the rooms are old, malfunctioning and completely outdated. The reception supervisor who I spoke with was despondent and not very interested in customer service. The other clerks were very shy to talk but one told me that "she had been working there for some time and couldn't smell anything". I tried to contact Hotels.com which is where I made a reservation to see if there is anything they can do to make sure this hotel stops being advertised as a 4 star hotel but no one has responded. There has to be something that can be done to make sure this highway robbery is stopped.

Rooms are clean, and quiet but tiny, bathroom tiles broken , unable to sit on the toilet without banging knees on wall opposite , flush on toilet not wired correctly. Bar is not well stocked. Buffet breakfast even at the reduced price on check in is not value for money.

This is certainly not a 4-star hotel. The entire building reeks of mold (the smell is unbearable on the ground floor and the basement), which is in fact a health hazard. All carpets, curtains, and furniture need urgent cleaning. Our mold-ridden, claustrophobic room was in the basement, and following our complaint we were moved to an upper floor room which at least had windows. The only good aspect of this hotel was the breakfast (purchased separately for £12). Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a little worried having read some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. We stayed 2 nights to attend BST in Hyde Park. The hotel is close to Gloucester Rd underground station (5 minute walk) and a small Waitrose.
We were given a room on the top floor (515) which was quite small due to the sloping roof but adequate for our needs - we were only sleeping there! Yes the furniture is a little tired and the room and bathroom oils probably do with some refurbishment but it was very clean with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee and small fridge in the room as well as a small safe.
Breakfast was great - hot and cold items and the bacon/sausage was a good quality.
Very happy with our choice of hotel and all the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing hotel. Our double room was incredibly small and dingy. In reality this was a single room with a double bed!! Very cramped indeed. Curtains were shabby - worn and did not look clean. Only 2 of the 6 lightbulbs in the room worked.
There is a smell of damp/ mildew on the ground floor by the lifts. Hotel bar was poor- ran out of beer one night ( but the bar man on Friday was great) and on second night service was not good and bar man did not seem to know what he was doing. Suspect he was covering for staff absence and did not want to be there! The bar closed before 11pm and no facility for residents to get a drink after this which was quite a surprise in a 4 star hotel.
Room service appeared as we were getting changed for an evening out and despite asking to just leave towels they came in and cleaned the bathroom causing delays for us getting ready to go out.
On a positive note the bathroom was clean and in good working order. Breakfast had a good selection but had to wait for hot food to be replenished.
This is listed as 4 star but fell well short of this which is a pity as good location.

My husband and i were really looking forward to our few days in London and having booked with Secret Escapes and looking through the photos we thought we had made a good choice. How wrong we were.
We booked a Deluxe Heritage Room with breakfast incuded and we were so ecxited to be finally getting a few days away together seeing the sites and going to a couple of show s. The Hotel looked great !
Once we arrived and were given our keys and a briefing along with an A4 letter on what they were not going to be providing my instinct told me that something was not right. For starters we were told that there would not be ANY housekeeping provided for at least three days but if we needed any more towels we just had to ask.
Considering we had paid four star prices and on the hotels website it states that extra hygiene measures were inplace throughout the hotel we were not impressed. The gym was also closed and the Restaurant had very limited opening times.
When we got to our room we couldnt believe it. The carpet was filthy dirty and the room was very run down to say the least.! I immediately went back to reception and told her i was not happy but dhe basically couldnt have cared less. I insisted that she move us and reluctantly she gave us another key to check out a different room .This was almost as bad but the windiws were facing a brick wall making it very dark so we went back to the reception and she said they didn't have anything else. I told her we didnt really want to stay in a room where the carpet wasn't even fit to be used as a door mat and she immediately offered us our money back. Now although we were not happy we would have accepted this but on trying to book somewhere else everything was already booked up! We had no choice but to stay. The breakfast was very poor with hardly any choice and the cooked breakfast was ALWAYS cold. We only had breakfast on two of the days with it being so poor. We had to ask for fresh towels, clean cups for the room and on both occasions they had obviously just rinsed them out in the room and not replenished them with clean ones so i had again to complain and insist they fetch us some from the kitchen. How on earth can that be right during covid rinsing the cups out in the room? What did they try drying them with and this was on the fourth day when the cleaned had actually changed the bedding??
How can a hotel claim to have extra hygiene measures in place and at the same time NOT have any housekeeping done for three days.
How on earth this hotel had been awarded a 4 star by the AA is beyond me. The hotel are just taking peoples money and charging for facilities that they are just not providing! My first bit of advice to the General Manager is this Please employ people who are interested in providing a good customer service.Start cleaning the rooms every day and for goodness sake replace the carpets that are disgustingly dirty before they walk out of their own accord as they are crawling! Take some pride in your job and the hotel. It is shameful. All potential customers steer clear of this hotel! Secret Escapes shame on you for being an agent for this hotel as you are misleading customers and NOT providing what you advertise!!!!

Absolutely lovely service, really wonderful. The one person bedroom was quiet smaller than anticipated especially sine we booked it for the same price as the one for 3 persons. The bedroom for three persons was very correct and very clean. Location is fabulous, close to everything. However there is an overwhelming mouldy smell in the entrance, it seems that it is is covered with perfume, but it's not working. It is worse right next to the stairs leading to the breakfast area. For my family and I it diluted the experience, the carpet next to the same stairs is clearly rotten and should be removed. Luckily our bedroom were immaculate and smelled nothing at all. This smell should really be addressed as I am afraid it hides a bigger problem, Other than that, an excellent hotel at a perfect location for tourists.

I have stayed many times at the Park International... It's la great hotel, ocation is fab with a great Thai restaurant directly opposite that I would recommend. I know breakfast is served downstairs but not sure if any rooms are positioned in basement. I would contact the hotel to obtain clarification.
