I would like to stay again. Bed, shower and cleanliness were good. Although you need to walk around 5 minutes to get to Glouster Road Tube station in case it rains, most of tourists may not mind. Around the station, you can easily find out TESCO (Supermarket), Barger King, KFC and Italian restaurants. Those shops were opened even around 23:00....

My friend and I stayed in one of the small double rooms. Americans should be aware that their small rooms (as are the rooms in ALL European hotels) are VERY small. We were a bit overwhelmed by how small it was when we first arrived. However, after a nap we were able to organize everything so that we were able...

Stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe room. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The service by reception staff was excellent. The room had very high ceilings which made it feel large. The bathroom was clean and with a walk-in shower and had L'Occitane toiletries. The room came with a small tablet called a "handy", this had...

The Park International Hotel is good in general and superb for what I paid. It offers clean rooms, extremely helpful staff, and a superbly good (complementary) breakfast. It’s exactly what I'd hope for in a hotel. The only downsides are that A) the single occupancy rooms are a bit small, and B) the beds aren’t particularly comfortable. The beds are...

Very friendly welcome. The hotel is very close to the tube station so it's easy to get anywhere in London also there are a number of restaurants close by if you did want to stay close to the hotel. My husband booked us one of the suites for 2 nights as a treat for our anniversary and it was beautiful!...

We stayed for one night to see Russell Howard at the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel was conveniently placed (<20 mins stroll from the venue) and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had an evening meal in the bar, which is quirky but the food was lovely. Overall a very pleasant stay and the...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
