Not far from Gloucester Rd tube so in a very handy location. Room was clean and comfortable also had a safe in the room. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable choice, the bar is good for a night cap.
We'd booked to go to Buckingham Palace on a Friday & were looking for somewhere to stay on the Thursday & Friday nights. I found this hotel & on the Amoma website it was about half the price of any other website, just over £100...More
Our first of two nights started out all wrong. Being sleep deprived from our transatlantic flight and having walked with our luggage from Paddington Train station, we were exhausted. The desk took our luggage but not our names. Check-in was 3:00 maybe? We wandered around...More
Stayed here for a 2 night break, location is ok, about 15 min walk to Kensington High Street but only a stones throw from nearest tube station at Gloucester Road. Nice looking building and lobby area, room was a little small but clean and comfortable,...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

The closest Car Park is the Holiday Inn Car park, situated next to the hotel. Alternatively you find NCP car parks around the area and you are looking at around £30 per night for parking. Also please take congestion charge in Central London in to consideration which is £11.50 per day.
I personally would recommend you take public transport while in London as the traffic in Central London could be a nightmare.
Hope this helps.
