The staff was rude and discriminatory. The room they gave us was dirty. The bathroom had vomit on walls. The room did not have any outside light. The entire experience was so bad... I will never ever go anywhere this place. Somebody should shut down the place. It is an health hazard.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for business. Booked last minute and in a rush. Between travelling and working for 18 hours, all I wanted was to get some rest. As I travel to London on a weekly basis, I'm a regular hotel stayer, but most definitely will not be anywhere near this joint ever again! Arrived at 9pm,...

So we asked to move to another room, and they were moved at 4rth floor if i am not wrong. Well this floor was rubbish. Very dirty all around, works in...

The Kensington Rooms Hotel is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in and should in my opinion be closed down. The room was dirty, there was mould in the bathroom, the carpets were thread bare, I could go on. I would recommend that you avoid this disgusting place like the plague.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our recent overseas trip. We had stayed here in 2012 and, although not the best quality then, it has certainly gone downhill since. Our double bed was against a wall. It had to be, otherwise you would not be able to get into the room. It was very small and hard...

A view of scaffolding from the window which you could have stepped out into. A television which we could not get a single channel on. Radiator hanging off the wall, damp patches on the walls, mastic pulling off the shower tray, grey filthy nets and electrical wiring behind the bed to make you gasp ........ And all this in a...

Broken stuff without repairing it. The room is small and not comfy, without fresh air getting in. One of the staff is unfriendly and rude...really frustrated with the poor services and poor room. Never visit again, it's the worst room i've ever seen...

We stayed for one night. Stayed on 2nd floor - 3 flight of stairs (was a lift). Room was spacious, decent sided bathroom also. Bed was comfortable but no duvet just a blanket in a duvet cover?? ROOM WAS VERY HOT and it was only 12degres outside in daytime - heating not on so no idea where heat was coming...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
