Really close to Victoria Station (10 minutes, more or less). Great bed, accommodations and very helpful staff. It's only a 5 minutes walk from Pimlico Station. The internet it's really slow but that's the only con I can find on the Hotel.

Sidney Hotel is very convenient for Central London - with excellent professional & friendly staff. The quality of service is excellent, with wonderful breakfasts. The rooms are slightly small, but no different from so-many other London hotels - making an visitor's stay OK.

Do not book this hotel! I attempted to make a booking through the website, but my reservation was declined because a staff member swapped credit cards with another guest. The hotel charged me 39.00 GBP but they said my card was declined, which is completely illogical. After numerous emails, and evidence from my bank statement, the hotel final accepted responsibility...

We arrived at the Sidney Hotel early evening to be greeted by the very cheery Christian. We went to our room which was on the ground floor behind the bar near one of the Hotel lifts. The room was very clean, the ensuite modern and immaculate. The room had all we needed , tea facilities, hairdryer etc but no view...

Having stayed in some very very small hotel rooms in London before this was a more than adequate hotel. A little of the beaten track but only three tube stops from Picadilly this was a perfect base to explore London from and daughter and I soon became subway experts. Very quiet road and safe to catch the tube and walk...

It was not a great experience. Our "double" in room 304 was a 3/4 and the whole room was about 6 feet square. There was an horrendous 80s fleecey blanket on the bed and the decor was ancient. On the plus side, the bathroom was lovely and the water was hot. But brekky was cornflakes or bread and the whole...

I stayed for three nights. The room was tiny but clean to a point. The underside of the cover was stained in what I cannot guess. Head board was fragmented and very sticky to lean on. The basin tap required a careful use as I was sure any reasonable force would remove it from the basin. The window over the...

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Sidney Hotel. We arrived around noon, excited to quickly nap and freshen up, after flying overnight, and we were told our 11:30am advertised checkin was actually 2pm and our rooms would not be available. We came back at 2pm, and as promised, our rooms were ready to go. We were first...

It can easily compete with 1000 pound hotels in the city. Superb, professional staff. A large number of staff, not just one trying to take care of many. New, refurbished, clean room with new linen and beds. Comfortable rooms with all amenities. Good sized bathrooms, with all sorts of bathroom assesories. CLEAN. Specious reception. (unusual for the area) and well...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
