Pretty decent hotel; I thought the price was fair based on the amenities, room, etc. Great location, too! Near Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, etc. The hallways on my floor looked a little dirty, but nothing too crazy. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights in March on a business trip. The hotel is very conveniently located - close to Trafalgar Square, Jubilee Bridge and two tube stations. The room was fine and had a good kitchenette. No daily housekeeping but that was no problem for us. Breakfast was 12GBP but we bought cereal from a nearby store. They have...

Could put up with the lack of prompt service and patched walls but there was no excuse for the mold around the tub. Homeless people are all around the property and become very vocal and aggressive after dark.

They made a mistake on my booking. I have all evidence that they made a mistake but will not take ownership and was treated badly. I tried to write to the President to complaint - that was 6 months ago - no word. Wrecked my couple days in London because of their mistake.

Stayed here for five nights. Had very much enjoyed a previous stay here 4 years ago, on that occasion daily housekeeping was included, not so this time, it was an extra cost of £15 per day, which was a little disappointing. Had a lovely studio room overlooking the street. Room was a good size with a good kitchenette and a...

What more can be said about this place that hasn't already been stated. The location is fantastic and is perfectly situated. Can walk to so many attractions. Having kitchen amenities available meant we could eat breakfast, prepare a lunch to eat while out and about, and cook dinner in the evening. Traveled with 2 children (10 and 7), the pullout...

I was very disappointed with my recent stays, on 1st stay, a disabled room was provided which I did not ask for and worst still, my prepaid second stay the following weekend, a terrible dirty room was given with lumps of dirt all over in the bedroom, bathroom and in the ventilation hood. The cabinet and utensils were all broken...

Location is great. Two subway station, few bus stop, railroad station, many nice restaurant, pub, supermarket are very close. Walk distance and easy access to many major sites. With kitchen, you can enjoy London like you live there. Service is also great and very friendly. You need room card to enter the hotel. I feel very secure. They only have...

Had a pleasant weekend stay here in a great location. Our original room was unavailable due to a last-minute electrical problem so we were offered two very comfortable studio apartments instead and a free breakfast. We also got to check in early and received a surprise bottle of wine and some chocolates. The member of staff checking us in could...

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
