what more is there to say... rooms are modern, although the building is very old and has character. Rates are not as bad as you might imagine and worth the position in town and the service you get. We will stay again.

The shower head not adjustable and pointed in a way that wet the bathroom floor after every shower. the bathroom in need of urgent maintenance. strangely there was a phone fixed to the wall in...

We stayed at the Russell Hotel several years ago because our name is "Russell" and I thought it looked quaint and charming. It also was close to the Russell Square Underground. We enjoyed our stay there and returned last weekend. We enjoyed it even more. We arrived on an early morning flight from Bahrain with the idea of staying 2...

As senior manager in my firm, I attended a conferences here. The room is a case for Trading Standards to investigate. One third of the delegates can't see each other, nor the screen at any time as there is a half wall dividing the room. Fine when it was a library a zillion years ago, but not at these prices....

Not too bad for a Central London hotel considering the price I paid and the level/degree of competition in the area. Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
