My daughter-in-law and I stayed here recently and would certainly recommend it for its excellent location, friendly staff, superb breakfast, complimentary snacks and good value in such a convenient part of London. Its proximity to two tube stations plus Hyde Park was such a bonus and it was also an easy walk to Marble Arch, Notting Hill etc . After...

It's not just a lovely hotel, but it's even perfectly located only a short walk from Paddington Station and two other Underground. And if you like running or walking in the park, you just have to cross the street. People were very kind and the hotel (renewed a couple of years ago) has a warm atmosphere. I will surely come...

We stayed here for three nights this week. It was our third time at Arbor Hyde Park and it won't be the last. Location, breakfast, rooms, friendly staff...it's completely the way we like it. We'll be back in 2017.

This is actually a lovely hotel a short walk from Paddington station and Lancaster Gate tube station. It is unpretentious, but offers great amenities and the rooms are very nice (good bed, good bathroom, a proper works space). Even the internet is pretty good. It manages to be a conversion of a traditional building, but "done properly" ... well finished...

Very small room. So much dust in the room, unbelievable. Razor thin, 4 inch wide 'wardrobe'. Could only hand a shirt and a jacket, nothing more (see attached pic). Decent enough breakfast. Location is ok but there are alternatives closer to the Paddington station. Price was not bad at 134 GBP (booked it the same day). Probably will not stay...

Well where do I begin, from the moment we arrived we weren't made to feel welcome. My wife and I booked this as treat for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The first thing we were asked was if we wanted a twin room, rather than the double we booked (we are clearly a same sex couple, with one bag). We left...

Stayed here for two nights, the location was perfect, 5mins walk to the tube station and Hyde Park. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Despite being just a short hop away from the West End of London, Arbor Hyde Park feels like it's a million miles from the intense whirl of nearby Marble Arch. Hidden away on a quiet loop that curves off from the main stretch of Lancaster Gate, the hotel provides its guests with a level of quiet seclusion rarely found in so accessible a location. Housed within a beautiful Victorian terrace, just a couple of minutes' walk from the trees, lakes and green spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Arbor Hyde Park offers a style of meticulous but unobtrusive service that matches the simple elegance of its architecture. The hotel has been designed for the comfort and convenience of its guests, with an emphasis on understated quality. There aren't many places in central London that can claim to be genuinely restful. The Royal Parks can make a good case; Arbor Hyde Park, which looks out over one of those parks, can too. ... more   less
