I have just visited this hotel for the first time and will definitely return for my future trips to London! The room was a lovely size, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is literally straight across from Gloucester Road tube station so it made travelling around and dropping off luggage very easy! The natural history...

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We were having dinner at Gordon Ramsay and this was the perfect location. The rooms are clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff at this hotel are great.

Our family has stayed at The Bailey's Hotel twice in July and June of 2015. We were taking a cruise out of Dover and wanted a family friendly hotel for pre and post cruise. To my delight ,The Bailey's was a highlight of the trip. Some of the best features are location. Directly across from a main tube ( underground)...

This was my third time staying at Bailey's Millennium Hotel and it never disappoints. It is right across from Gloucester Road station, which is on the Piccadilly line as is Heathrow Airport, so it's very convenient to just go from the airport to the hotel and not have to drag heavy suitcases through London streets for blocks. We opted to...

Recently stayed here for 5 nights and left with mixed feelings. My main problem is the very false representation of the room layout from the website photos. Their naming should read "compact " not "classic" room as we were left wondering where our wardrobe space and bedside cabinets had gone. Considering were staying so long it felt like staying in...

Stayed here many times over the years but not for a while so was please to see the hotel has been given an uplift as some of the bedrooms were beginning to look tired. The doorman is very helpful and friendly and I love his red bowler hat, that's a nice touch. The Olives bar is a great location for...

I was on business for 4 days and my company booked me here. The hotel exudes professinalism and style from the time you enter the front door. My room was not ready mid-afternoon, but this was managed with a complimentary drink in the adjacent bar. The rooms are well appointed, quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The room came...

The staff in this hotel were well organised and professional. Getting ready to go out to dinner, I found the iron did not work, within minutes of reporting it a new iron was brought to my door. The bedroom was nicely decorated although a little compact, the bathroom too was small but otherwise perfect with a choice of two showers...

Stayed one night here. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, small but perfect bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning very welcome. Ideal location, 5 min walk to museums, 10 mins to Royal Albert Hall. Breakfast is pricey so we went across the road to a lovely little cafe! Fridge in the room.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
