We booked a deluxe double room but the one they gave us was rather small and disappointingly had a window facing a backyard fence, therefore no view whatsoever and little daylight. It was also right next to where the breakfast was served so we heard...More
Many large hotel chains could learn from this hotel. The room we had was a superior deluxe and it was exactly that.
The room is small, but even the Mondrian last week was small. But OMG it's so well thought out. Excellent bathroom and too...More
We arrived to a lovely box of chocolates for my birthday which was a lovely touch. The room no 21 was tiny. My daughter and I are small luckily. The room was noisy and by the lift so we didn't sleep well. The bin was...More

There are a number of bookings where full payments are due upfront because of the special rate. If you can let me know your name/booking reference I can check if this was processed correctly or not. If not, I apologies of course. But please...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

The breakfast is simple. Cereal. Toast. Fruit salad. There was meat and cheese but I did not have it. If you are just veggie and not vegan they also have a funny little egg boiler. You ask for toast when you get in the room... More

There is a pub just on the corner that received great reviews from TA but I was never hungry enough to go and eat in though I wish I had. There is a M&S express across the road from the pub. There is a Greggs right across the road from the tube station.
This hotel is totally within walking distance from the tube station. Going the other way are small restaurants, a Starbucks and a bit of a walk away is a Tesco superstore.
On a personal note I have no issues going back.
