Giving them the 3 star is because of its great location (close to covent garden underground) and the polite and helpful ground staff they have. Otherwise, its room was ok but not what i expect "Strand Palace" should be, layout of each floor is like a maze from elevator to room. The hotel can not provide you with an adapter...

Standard hotel room, clean and functional in a traditional old setting. The lobby gives you a feel of "oh no, this could be a tired old hotel" or "hello, this looks nice, the room could be good". The room is a relief or a disappointment depending where you fall here as it has a bit of a "Travel Lodge" feel....

The location of the The Strand is excellent. We were able to walk to most tourist sites or access the Tube easily. Chinatown and SOHO had great restaurants. The Theatre District is close too. The rooms weren't luxurious but we found them clean & comfortable. The staff were easy to work with. We were originally located on a higher floor...

Staff very friendly, nothing to much trouble, made very welcome, central location for theatregoers! Would have preferred a room that wasn't overlooking the main road, a bit noisy, but apart from that it was very clean, we had a a lovely stay.
