The room is in need of updating, television works occasionally and the noise is terrible. The front desk employees are not friendly nor helpful. Fire alarm went off and while the hotel is within easy walking distance to attractions, I am very dissappointed in the hotel and will not return.

We stayed at the Millennium Gloucester for a couple of nights whilst visiting London for leisure. The hotel is within a two minute walk of Gloucester Road tube station. The reception staff & reception area are welcoming. We were given an upgrade to a superior room; a good sized room with two beds. The ensuite facilities are good with a...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We had room 101 on the first floor right over the casino. The casino guests who were smokers, smoked, talked and laughed all through the night. I would not recommend this room if you want a good nights sleep. Apart from the room, the hotel is very nice and with exceptionally...

Good location, lovely reception area. However we stayed in room 285(second floor) the room looked nothing like the pictures, looked like it hadn't been used in ages. Could hear every little sound and also got woken early hours in the morning by the fire alarm. Also when signing out the following morning, the man was very blunt and not interested...

I have booked this hotel through Expedia, a hotel that I have spent my honeymoon once upon time, my son has accompanied me on this London trip, I was so disappointed with the room (232) initially was given to us, it has nothing to do with the images on the site for a twin bedroom, the room was so bad...

First the location - brilliant. About 2 minutes from Gloucester Road tube station; loads of bars, cafes and restaurants and a hand Tesco Express close by. When you enter, the hotel looks amazing but the bedrooms didn't live up to this. Our twin room 220 was adequate but a chair was badly stained and in the worst place possible, leaving...

My son and I have just returned from this hotel. When we arrived the manager greeted us with the news that we were the guests of the day! We had a free breakfast, a beautiful room and access to the club lounge. Staff were excellent and really friendly. The location suited us perfectly. We will definitely book again for our...

We have been staying here for years. The location, around the corner from a tube station main line is near perfect, The rooms are starting to show their age, furniture a little stale and wounded, room amenities are only average. However the staff and concierge service is first rate and the breakfast package is a bargain. Will be back.

Second time I have stayed here. Went for husbands birthday and booked a club room. Wouldn't bother with that unless I was on my own. Not much bigger than standard room and breakfast choice was much less than restaurant. Staff very helpful and courteous. Very close to museums ten minutes walk from Natural History & V & A a little...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
