Unfortunately I was unable to stay as the meeting I was due to attend was cancelled and, of course, I couldn’t apply for a refund as I had paid for the stay outright, without the option of a refund. A great shame as I was looking forward to a first stay at a different Ibis hotel.
Hotel is in an excellent location for the tube/bus routes. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the continental breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful, would stay again next time we visit London.
Overnight business stayover which was ideal. Location was superb and conveniently situated next door to the tube station. Room was large and spotless, along with funky decoration themed around London tube. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, helping me with a taxi booking at early as 5 am in the morning. Will be back! Thanks to all the team
I just spent a week in this hotel. It's quite small but the room wasn't. I was there to compete in the London Triathlon and I'd told the staff when I signed up (I did this in person because I wanted to leave the awful hotel I'd originally booked so I walked in to talk about staying there) that I would have my bike AND my bike case with me when I checked in (after my race), so they thoughtfully gave me a room on the first floor. This is a small hotel, but my room had a spacious bathroom, a queen-size bed, and loads of towels! Anything I asked for -- such as glasses of ice when I returned from a run -- they provided immediately. When I left for Heathrow, the General Manager of the hotel (who happened to be there just then) walked with me to the Tube station (Gloucester Road, if you're mapping this), pulling my bike case as I pulled my suitcase. Yes, they provided that "in the weeds" level of service. More about the hotel: It's in a great location, with a Starbucks (!) and many restaurants in walking distance, plus a very nice supermarket (Waitress) across the street, with an array of prepared foods. It's also less than a mile (an easy walk) to Kensington Gardens, which is a big park basically across the street from Hyde Park (with biking and walking paths). I will absolutely stay there again. …
The room was small and bijou but everything perfectly in place. All members of staff were exemplary -in communication they were just ace. Breakfast provided by Portuguese staff was as fresh as fresh can be. If you want an ideally located hotel with helpful staff book here...the Aircon is free.....
This hotel caught our eye because it looked fun, informal, had a modern, comfortable décor, and many references to the Tube. The location is great, just a couple minutes away from the Gloucester Road tube station and next to many restaurants, the Natural History Museum, and the lovely Hyde Park. So many fun things to explore right in the Kensington neighborhood! Besides that, Maria, who works at the reception, is Brazilian and greeted us in Portuguese every morning. And, at breakfast time, we also met Mena, from Portugal, who was very kind and welcoming to us. By the way, I have only nice things to say about the whole staff, they were very friendly, fun and helpful. Our room was located in the basement. It had a very comfortable bed, enough towels, and the selection of tv channels was surprisingly good. The only things I think could be improved: the lack of hangers for the towels/clothes in the room and/or bathroom. There was also a bit of construction work early in the morning right next to our window, with some hammering and singing (!), but fortunately we were already awake by the time that happened. Then the room started to smell strongly of glue in the last afternoon we spent there, but the air conditioning in fan mode helped to clear the air, so we didn't even tell anyone from the staff, because after a few hours everything went back to normal. All in all, this is a great place to stay if you want to spend a couple of days in London and go sightseeing. Thanks for a lovely stay and I hope to come back in the future!…
Lovely location in London, plenty of beautiful restaurants and streets and the tube within easy walking distance. Rooms are small but have a funky Underground theme with nice lobby and bar area where you can claim your free drink on arrival.
Had a lovely stay here with work, nice atmosphere and vibe in a good location. Great area to work from also in the lounge. Special mention to Sanjay who was super helpful and a great asset to the hotel. Will return
What I really really like was the good attitude of the manager to solve any problems. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice design. The breakfast was more than good. We cannot forget that this is a 3-star hotel. The location is fantastic with a subway station nearby and close to a famous square.
I was given a room where the shower has both pipes connected to super hot water - dangerous and impossible to use, they gave me a second room in the basement only for showering as the room itself smelt so Rotten nobody could sleep in it. All this for well over 200 euros.... I ask for the director to email me or call me, he never bothered. I have a gold card with Accor. Forget this hotel unless they get a new GM.
