Very central hotel within walking distance of many places
Room was very small and as the hotel looked like it had recently been renovated the room size problem should have been taken care of

The price was right for us, so we gave it a shot...and we weren't disappointed. The location is fantastic, literally just across from the Gloucester Rd station, near many restaurants and close enough to all of the sightseeing musts. The rooms were small, yes, but...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
Easy to get from Heathrow. The Cromwell is just around the corner from Gloucester Road Station on the Picadilly tube Line which goes directly to Heathrow. The Cromwell is not a luxury hotel, but ok for a couple of days.
