I came for afternoon tea with 4 friends yesterday and I have been left feeling disappointed. In terms of dietary requirements, we had 2 vegetarians and 2 dairy free, which I let the hotel know of the week beforehand. The vegetarian sandwiches tasted fine but two of them were the same, which seemed extremely lazy and uncreative. Believe it or...

This hotel is in the perfect location for walking to Oxford Street/RegentSt/Covent Garden no need to use the tube. Very pleasant welcoming staff. The breakfast is lovely the perfect way to start the day off. We ate our other meals out while we were out & about. It's down a quiet street which is lovely to get away from the...

Room was dated and had stained carpet. Room was over £200/night without breakfast. Very poor value for money. Food was like eating something your child had made in Home Economics Class. Poor service in restaurant.

So for London and the price per night 190GBP (including breakfast) this is quite a fair deal. Nevertheless the hotel is far from being on the standard of a Hilton hotel. The interior is worn and old. Windows do not close and open proberly. Breakfast selection is limited. Again worth the money as this is in central London. But do...

Comfortable stay location excellent for getting around London - room alright clean but virtually no hot water which is irritating and whilst I understand it is an old building surely by now this could have been sorted - reception area a bit soulless.

Perfect location in Green Park, the hotel is ideal for Mayfair. Short walk to the Mall, Buckingham Palace, Fortnum's. We chose a room which was very good, on the 4th floor at the front of the building, however when we book again it will be at the rear, as we found it very noisy! But the room size and cleanliness...

We had planned weekend in London and chose the Hilton Green Park as I'm a gold Hilton honours member. I can't fault the location it's fantastic, minutes from Green Park and walking distance to pretty much most of the west end if you like a walk, we walked from there to Covent Garden and it was lovely. Check in was...

The room was horrible. Not what I have come to expect from a Hilton. Was really surprised at the rough shape this room was in. Huge crack and water damage on roof of the bathroom ceiling, mold in the bathroom, drink stains on the wall in the room, carpet was old, damaged and in need of replacement, shower curtain rod...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
