Having just stayed in the Green Park Hilton, I can definitely say, if you want a hotel in the heart on London with a beautiful setting, this is the one for you. It's within comfortable walking distance of the main attractions, as well as boasting a delicious restauraunt and very relaxing bar area. The rooms are as you'd expect of...

This is an 'old style' London hotel. I walked to my room through a mazy corridor and then slightly annoyingly had to lug my heavy suitcase up about 8 steps at the end. Inside, my room was incredibly small but fortunately the cat was absence so I couldn't check out the old adage but I think a bruised and upset...

Paid almost $280/night. Extremely tiny shower with almost impossible to take shower with shower curtains touching body (which is highly unhygienic). Never take the small room in this hotel - daytime robbery

Overall the visit was very good, nice staff, good rooms and great breakfast buffet. Had one problem with the restaurant recommendations from the concierge, wanted a good place for dinner but got a coffee shop. Great location.

I went for business in the City and booked my room online. The hotel was too expensive for my corp. agent so i went with the trusted name and booked the room myself. It was GBP 364 - the cheapest room. I did not realise that the room was really cheap, it seems they charge a pound per square inch...

My partner and I have stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed it. The first time we stayed we didn't like the room and wasn't impressed by the amount of noise but then we were given another opportunity to come and stay and we loved it. The rooms are clean with old wooden furniture. The service is spot...

This hit is one you easily can book and recommend to friends. From when you enter you instantly feel welcomed by the reception staff and the fine lobby. The location is spot on and if you did not know, you have one of London's best Indian restaurants (Tamarind) less that 1 min away. Rooms are also of a good quality...

My wife and I booked this hotel for a birthday stay and were absolutely delighted by our choice. On first arrival we were given a fantastic welcome by the front of house staff and given a professional check in after they took the time to ask how our travel had been so far. The members of staff took time to...

Its old town house that is long over due a full renovation, but keeping its heritage. The meeting room in the Basement smelled of damp. Power was a mess of cables. The meeting room area male toilets stank. The bed room was fine but I am Honours so it should be. Noisy early at the front rooms with deliveries. Views at...

Our room was generally very nice, very clean, comfy bed, over the bath shower was ok. Nice bit of built in wardrobe space. Hotel not far from the underground and only across from Green Park, a very nice area to sit and relax. Plenty of buses close by too. The Tiger Green Brasserie was excellent. All the staff were friendly...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
