The location of the hotel is just perfect: 1 min away from Oxford Street, 10 min from Hyde Park and a couple of min from Bond Station. There are lots of good restaurants and cafes around it. The service is good and the staff were attentive and very friendly. There was only one day where they did not clean our...

We use Marriotts as we collect their points. Our usual Marriott is out of town but we decided to use this one as it was extremely close to where we needed to be that weekend. OK, it's not cheap, and we did do one of our three nights on our points, but you really cannot fault this hotel. First up,...

Located in a very safe and conveniently located part of town. Hotel was clean, and the staff was really nice. The hotel restaurants wasn't very good and a little overpriced. There are a ton of great places to eat near the hotel.

Stayed here in early August. Room was excellent and service was terrific. Onsite restruants were a bit pricy but there were other place closeby to eat and the staff was very helpful helping us find them. There was an English pub just 2 blocks away that was good. Close to shopping district and right accross from Hyde park

I stayed here for one night due to an awards night at another nearby hotel. Location is fantastic for those looking to shop or go to winter wonderland. A previous reviewer says it was 15-20 mins walk to the shops but if you just turn left as you leave the hotel, it is no more than 2-3 mins to Oxford...

Even tho this hotel is located in a very prime area, it is still 15-20 mins walk away from major areas such as Piccadilly Circus , oxford Cir etc. The room rates are as expensive as you'd expect in london, but for this pricing I wouldn't repeat. The bed is very comfortable, the toilets are old, internets good. Gym is...

Typical Marriott standard with reasonable beds and reasonable clean but small rooms. The location midst in Mayfair is very good for shoppers but bad for Theater goers, Opera and music lovers, etc. Amenities and services are pretty basic: a limited number of restaurants and bars which are very busy and all with back ground music. There was a special event...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
