Had a Weekend stay at the Queens Hotel and on the last night our groundfloor room was broken into. The hotel staff were of no help at all and kept telling us it would be passed onto the manager. We asked for the Police to be involved but knew little could be done by them although they were very helpful... More

Dear Guest, The Queens Park Hotel is naturally distressed by such negative reaction to the duration of stay here, but very much appreciate you taking the time and trouble to appraise us of your recent stay here. I perfectly understand and would like to tell you a little about the circumstances involved. Let me start by saying that I had... More

probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Should have known from the check in when I had to pay amount on arrival!. Unable to share the lift with my wife as the lift only holds one person. Room was not made up at 1530 when we arrived. After complaining we were moved to another room. Room barely fitted... More

I was booked into this hotel by First Choice a TUI company acting for Superbreak and had no reason to expect it to be other than a clean and reasonable hotel as we were given thisl advice by a "reputable" travel organisation. On the eve of our visit I read the reviews whilst looking up the location in order to... More

Dear Newcastlecitybreaker, Thank you for your review. It is extremely distressing to read a review that poses a negative affect. What is more distressing is to receive a review from someone who was potentially going to stay her but then had a change of mind due to reading past reviews. I am the Hotel Manager, and though I have never... More

The hotel is being refurbished, the lifts need maintenance and the room was small but OK. The main concern is the poor management advice and the arrogance of the hotel manager. If you stay here make sure you understand the advice you are getting. Their financial return is more important than your satisfaction.

I came home with scabies from this hotel. It is disgusting and I will NEVER stay here again. DO NOT believe the pictures that you see on the internet. The rooms do not look like that. They are dirty, with stains on the bedding and obviously bugs. The beds are not beds but movable cots that are so horrible that... More

This hotel is so basic! The rooms are tiny and offer nothing.. Extremely bad value for money! Stay well clear of this hotel as it fails even the most basic health and safety requirements..

Avoid at all costs! Accommodations are disgusting, strange stains on carpet, walls in unit and also in elevator! I constantly felt like things were crawling on me while sleeping in the bed. Two days later i broke out in a rash. Rooms are TINY, one single bed took up 2/3's of the room. Walls are paper thin, so don't expect... More

Lots of the reviews we can relate to..Dirty carpets, random fire alarm, dis-interestest staff, small lift, noise from the street, but I reckon I can trumph them all. We had a MOIUSE in our room (311) on our first night!! Obviously, he was not impressed by the 'continental' breakfast because he went for our bag of mini eggs and had... More
