On arrival I was impressed by the exterior of the building and carried my suitcase up to reception. A very unfriendly man begrudgingly gave me my key and explained where the lift was. He did not offer to help me with my luggage. The lift was archaic and very difficult to use when you have bags and cases. I was...

Hallam hotel Booked this hotel before is is close to the Hallam conference centre. Arrived Friday 1pm, had to leave suitcases in main reception as we where not allowed our room until 2pm. Reception... leather seats ripped. Looks scruffy. One gentleman on reception, happy and cheerful. Allocated room 4 on ground floor. Twin room, beds comfortable, only one pillow on...

Very basic, but great location for shopping or the conference I was attending. Cooked breakfast is included and the price was the cheapest I have ever found for such a location, so close to Regents street and Oxford street

Have to say i enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Staff were helpful. Our twin room was big and clean. With ensuite. We stayed for three nights and was a great location. Had breakfast one morning and it was fine. Did the job! Would stay here again no bother.

I wanted to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt but concur with most reviews. Good central location and includes breakfast in rate. My single room was adequate although the en suite looked in mid decoration and supplied one small sachet of shower gel. Shower did also not work properly. I had to ask for wifi which worked in...

Don't get me wrong the place is in a good location and bed sheets clean and staff on desk were friendly people, I payed for breakfast...

If you are just looking for a bed then this is it, I stayed here as I had a works function across the road and did not want to get the train, the room is very dated it smells of damp the bed was wonky the shower is not worth having one and could not wait to leave (room 18).

When I arrived I was told that my room was already occupied by someone under my name (not a common name). The staff found me another room after a while. It was small and basic but what I would expect for the money. Unfortunately the shower didn't work (no pressure at all). Given that I had a very quick turn...

The hotel was basic and the decor needs a huge upgrade but for our needs it was good enough. We were on the lower ground floor and you can hear the tube line every few minutes, but living in a city its nothing worse than traffic sounds are. The bedding was clean and the bathroom functional, the english breakfast was...
