The Imperial hotel is a great hotel in a great area in London. It's close to Covent Garden and to a metro station. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the service is great. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The rooms were also very warm which was great as we went in winter! They have...

Fast check in. Kind people. Good English breakfast. Great location in London. However it looks old and we were lucky to have a room on the court. Room confortable enough. Very good fish end chips at the restaurant.

This is a nice hotel in a good location in London, it is surrounded by its sister Hotels, the breakfast is a full English but its done on a huge scale so the attention to detail is lacking, the hotel is a little dated but overall its a good place to stay.

We arrived and were checked in quickly, upgraded to an executive room which was really nice. The staff are lovely and the hotel is spotless. Breakfast wasn't quite hot enough so that could be improved. All in all was great value for money

Arrived mid day at the hotel, checked in without any fuss and eventually managed to raise a smile from the receptionist. Our rooms were on the 8th floor and comfortable enough with views across the British museum and the BT tower. This is a large hotel but there were plenty of lifts always available. We only used two of the...

Have stayed at this hotel 8 times now and have always been very happy with the place. This visit there were one or two niggles though. Unable to check in until quarter to three, even though check in time is 2pm. All the receptionist kept saying was, well we have been very busy yesterday. When we did eventually get into...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Imperial Hotel is the flagship of Imperial London Hotels. We're proud of it for a reason. Offering breathtaking views over London's greatest public square, it reflects every ounce of our dedication to service and value. Like all our hotels, the Imperial combines a remarkable location with the great facilities and friendly service of a family-run business. At the Imperial, though, while the price remains extremely reasonable, we add an extra dash of something special. The location is remarkable, connecting guests to the rest of London in minutes. In addition to the central Atrium Bar & Cafe, facilities include a casino, a hair salon and a Chinese herbalist. Restaurants and cafes offer plenty of choice to families and business travellers alike. Indulge in the intriguing delights of Coffee and Candy. Enjoy a late night at the Night and Day Bar, serving classic pub fare at great prices. And relax; we've been doing this since 1837, and we know how to make your stay a restful one. ... more   less
