The bar area comfortable & good for a light lunch. Rooms were comfortable & very clean. Could not fault anything & all...

We stayed on a Saturday night. Everything was quite good. We got upgraded to a Grand room and it was a really nice room. Good service, good buffet breakfast, reasonable bar. I thought the bar area was a bit dated and cold in areas. The other problem we had was that when the main entrance doors opened there was a...

Booked this hotel for a night at the Albert Hall, decided to take 2 nights and make a weekend of it. Was greeted by a receptionist who was so helpful and polite, turned out this was just standard in this hotel. The hotel is very beautiful the room was perfect, clean tidy everything you'd expect and more. Breakfast was included...

We stayed here 6 nights. The hotel is across the street from Victoria and Albert Museum, 1 block from the underground stop, walking distance from lots of restaurants, and a short tube ride to everything we wanted to see. Location was perfect. Room was clean and nicely maintained. A good continental breakfast and for a few more GBP, a full...

Have stayed at Rembrandt many times of the years and it is still good value for an excellent location. My husband says best English breakfast he has ever had and very friendly service. Have worked in travel for many years and cannot fault this hotel.

We've taken the kids to London three times over the past five years and we always come back to the Rembrandt. First of all, you can't beat the location -- walking distance to Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube stops and right across the street from the Victoria & Albert, Natural History, and Science Museums. Another block and we were at...

We always come here in mid January to dispel the post Christmas blues. Lovely rooms and jolly good breakfast. Right in the centre of all the museums and near good restaurants. Not a ridiculous price either. Haven't eaten there other than breakfast. Lovely place with very nice staff.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
