Having read some of the other reviews about this hotel it does make me wonder what people expect of a budget hotel in central London!!! You cant expect Dorchester standards for less than £100 per night (we actually got a deal at £60 a night). The hotel is very easy to get to and literally a 5 minute walk to...

Bayswater inn is more of a b&b than hotel to us, I know it is has a 3 star rating but the room is small and if you are well built then forget using the shower as we could only just get in, no plug in sink and reported it on 1st day and as yet one has not appeared....

There was 6 of us traveling from Sheffield. It was my sisters birthday. I wanted to surprise her on her birthday as we were staying at this hotel from Fri-Sun. I would say calling them experience wasn't great as I had to email them and call few times to arrange a cake and cup cakes. However when got there around...

Having been allocated this Hotel as part of a Rail/ Theatre Show/ Accommodation package, we had no decision in choosing this Hotel I (I use the term ' Hotel ' generically of course) Firstly, we were shocked, when asked for a Room Deposit of £20, which also accompanied a promise of Automatic Return within 5 days, which despite 17 telephone...

It's a nice hotel located near hyde park. Easy access by 2 of the nearby underground stations. Halal food is easily available nearby restaurants. Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Taxi from heathrow airport cost around 60 pounds. Big Bus stop is at walking distance.

Triple standard room was of very poor quality, worst accomodation we came across! Hot breakfast all of low price quality. Staff very unhelpful! After touring Britian and Europe, we found this to be the worst hospitality we received.

The hotel fulfilled its purpose for our trip. A clean family room with a spotless bathroom. The breakfast was the only disappointment which felt like you were eating re-heated food in a canteen; however given the amount we paid for the hotel we would do it again.

Friendly hotel in a very nice location, between Hyde Park and Bayswater underground station. Pleasant and perfect for a low cost trip in London. Very good accomodations and wc's always cleaned up. I would like to come back for another weekend.

My sister and I stayed here as part of a theater package, I expected it to be much worse than it was, so was pleasantly suprised. The room was clean, it had a nice modern bathroom with a great shower. I found the bed to be really comfortable. My only negative was that because the building is old, when anyone...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
