Travelled with friends. Breakfast is quite good for what you pay. We stayed 4nights, room on the ground floor, it was small but did the job. The only lack was no free wifi in the building and you have to pay 1£ to storage your luggage......

Stayed here over the weekend and was impressed with standard of rooms and particularly the breakfast. I've stayed in far more expensive places that weren't as good as here. Triple room on 2nd floor which was clean, spacious and en suite very recently refurbished.

As part of my 60th Birthday, we went to London to see The Bodyguard so stayed at this hotel for one night only. On arrival we were a little early so the concierge took our luggage and put it in the storage room while we went out walking in Regents Park which was almost across the road. The room was...

Well what can I say? I nearly didn't book because of all the people who have moaned however I'm glad I did! Yes the breakfasts aren't a full English however for brekky it did the job, yoghurts, fruit, juice, toast, and even hot chocolate which actually not all hotels offer hot chocolate anymore! We stayed on the 3rd floor, lifts...

Nice big room, decent shower. Friendly staff. Breakfast could have been better but served it's purpose. Tube stations close by. Plenty of places to eat & drink nearby. Overall this hotel did what we wanted for a couple days.

Do not stay here. The staff on reception are incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. They made us pay a deposit for our stay on top of the room price which they still have not gave us back. After ringing several times to ask why this is I received similar rude responses. I asked for one woman's name on reception...

Although they advertised no bacon or pork sausage for breakfast there was plenty of choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room a little small but all clean and well serviced. Would stay here again. Handy for local restaurants and bars and a tube stop from central London

The single good part of this hotel is the location. Its close by to everything and the surrounding area is really nice. The room had a lot of dents and cracks in the wall and what looked like burn marks on the carpet. The walls were paper thin so you could hear every little noise and there was no bathtub...

Stayed here on a Tuesday night. Room was clean with tea and coffee and shower amenities provided. The hotel itself including in our room needed renovating the general wears and tears but overall for the price it was just what we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly enough but we were not aware of the policy of a £50 security...

First the good. It's in an excellent location, Bayswater, Queensway and Paddington are all less than 10 minutes walk away. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is plentiful. Our room and the public areas were very clean. There's a complimentary smartphone provided. The things the hotel could do better on: provide bacon with breakfast, not just sausages. A...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
