Great location and close to Gloucester Rd underground station. Being on Piccadilly line this is a direct and cheap ride from Heathrow airport. Rooms and facilities clean and well maintained. Tea and coffee provisions in room. Central heating worked well and kept room at good...More
Pros: location, clean, modern bathroom.
Cons: windows ineffective at keeping out road noise. Can hear noise from next rooms. Very cramped rooms, hardly enough space for one person let alone two.
Pack earplugs and the location may make up for the noise.
Ideal location for a one night stay following an evening at the Royal Albert Hall. The room was rather small but clean and tidy. The traffic was noisy (as is expected in London) most of the night but we chose to open the window rather...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
