Was ok. We weren't allowed to have any visitors to the room or they threatened to charge us for an extra person completely. Eventually became kind of a hovering environment to be honest. Like you're 13 and at your parents' house and you're not allowed to have visitors EVER. They'd look at us like we were suspects of some kind....

I was told to issue proceedings if I didn't like the room! We complained as the air con didn't work, it was noisy, bed was harder than concrete, hair dryer didn't work and the bath didn't have a plug! The latter is was told that the hotel didn't offer a bath room but shower only which is not what the...

We booked this hotel before reading the reviews and then started to regret it after what people were saying however we found the staff to be very nice and the room although small was clean with everything you needed. We paid £79 for a double room including breakfast and found that for the location and price the room size was...

The reception are was modern with friendly enough staff, the room was long/oddly shaped with a tiny bathroom, but clean and very good value for the area, was easy to get to coffee shops nearby, easy to walk to the underground and felt safe. Really handy for visiting the museums. I didnt notice any noise at night from the room.

We stayed here in December 2016. The rooms online look like a descent size but I could not put 2 suitcases on the floor without tripping over them. The staff weren't that friendly. Really disappointed.

Booked a 3 night stay here during October. We booked a room which stated it had a double bed, however upon arrival we were disappointed to find that the bed was just a little bigger than a single, dirty and very uncomfortable - definitely not adequate for 2 people and not a double as advertised. The room was extremely small,...

On the plus side - clean, excellent location for Royal Albert Hall, museums etc. close to two tube stations, very comfortable bed. Cheapish. On the negative side - on walking into the room I thought we had been allocated a single room, but on checking the number of pillows and towels, realised that it was a double. 4ft bed pushed...

This hotel is in a great location...tube station 5mins Royal Albert Hall 10 mins Natural History Museum nearby. We had a few doubts after reading some reviews but we'd nothing to worry about. The rooms are small but what do you expect for the price.... we were never in our room apart from sleeping so it didn't matter the location...

I don't mind a small room when I'm getting a good price, however when the double bed is pushed up against 1 wall & I can hear the person in the next room turning over in the night because their duvet or worse still body, is brushing up against the wall, it's time to look at sorting out some noise...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
