We stayed in this hotel for over 15 days and holidayed out to go to Lake District for 2 days and came back to stay at this hotel before we headed back to Dubai. However the night we checked in , we opted to go for a much superior room but we were surprised with extreme disappointment. The A/C was not working and we requested for a baby crib and an extra duvet none of them provided. So Mr Asad who was a receptionist at the time was extremely rude, used extreme foul language, and threaten to kick us out of the hotel at night 1.00 AM. I didn’t sleep at all the whole night, my children were sleeping on the sofa because a baby crib was not provided so I asked for duvet and the Mr Asad says I’m sorry that none of the duvet is available as it’s been taken over by other guests The least they could do is apologize but instead he fought with us and threatened to kick us out of the hotel. We want a full compensation to be provided by the hotel and an extreme action to be taken against Mr Asad.…
All members of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and maintaned during our stay. The gym has good equipment and a refreshing watertap. I also found the room isolation very nice, because that way I wasn't bothered by neigbours. The fact that it is across from Londons central subway line made it even better.
We had a great stay at the Crowne plaza in London. -Breakfast was great -Staff was friendly -Gym was great -Rooms were clean -Fairly priced The Subway is 100 m away so it is easy to travel to and from.
I have been meaning to write a review, I usually stay for work purposes and often use the bar / restaurant for dinning in. One particular evening not sure when she joined but a young lady Monica or Monique, cannot fully remember but I have to say her serving and waiting skills 100/100. Beautiful smile and knowledge recommended a dish I would hardly choose of the weekly specials menu, I have to say because of her I plan on staying here regularly, very friendly. This has to be one of the best services I have received in a while, whilst staying here. I'd like to say HUGE Praises to her! Hoping to see her soon!
Traveled there for the play off final with friends, lovely hotel , check in was straight forward , breakfast was £12.50 but it was worth every penny as there was do much choice and excellent service and quality . The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable , it was a short walk to the nearest tube station which was great to get into central London , would we stay again yes definitely.
Location couldn’t be better : right by the Central Line Hanger Lane stop. Neighbourhood : wouldn’t stay out roaming around too long alone. Hotel : 1. Staff - surly - managers boss around personnel and are not very friendly to guests either. Wouldn’t want to work there. 2. Rooms : on the cusp of tired. Rooms at the back overlooking the park are nice and quiet. Airco works really well. Minibar is empty. Beds are small : expect one person bed for two. 3. Meals : restaurant staff very reluctant. Closes at 9:45 sharp regardless of guests. They make you feel they rather you didn’t come. Bar same. Breakfast : 10 am deadline (seriously) even in weekends. All in all : elsewhere probably beter options. Drab is the word. Very unwelcoming. Shame this is hospitality industry.
Stayed recently for 2 nights and the hotel was good but the location is poor just off a major huge roundabout where the traffic is constant and you have to use subways if walking. Situated close to Hanger Lane Tube Station. The room was nice and a good breakfast and bar and the best part is there are lots of staff who are friendly and efficient. Would not fancy leaving my car in the car park where security is poor and the car park at the back is filthy with cans etc scattered all over.
I arrived at this hotel and noticed the room was hot, but the air condition was set at full heat, I set it to cool the room and left to go into London, returning late I found the room was unbearably hot, but it was midnight, so tried to sleep. in the morning as I was unable to sleep much I was up early, tried to make a teams call in my room and was unable to keep it connected, tested the internet and it only gave 2Mbps. the front desk said they would move me to the back of the hotel, but wouldn't comment on the air conditioning working. they said they would reboot the router. after testing the internet after breakfast I found it was the same. If you need internet, or a nice nights sleep, I wouldn't stay at this hotel
Booked online for 3 adults and 1 child. The room was a Junior Queen Suite that was spacious, had a bath tub with tv and a shower, a/c and small fridge. The double bed was very wobbly to the point you could feel seasick with the slightest move and the sofa bed was just terrible. The a/c was very noisy and the room TV had a weak signal, while the bathroom TV worked fine. Breakfast was at 12.5GBP extra, even if you just wanted a toast and a cup of coffee and when we wanted to order room service the Reception would not reply so I had to go there and order. Some dishes on the menu were not available. We did not show any discomfort and did not complain to the staff, but when we checked out we were not asked how was our stay and when we said goodbye we did not receive a reply, though in general the staff were not impolite, just seemed to not care as much as a 4-star hotel would require. Hotel location is right across the street from Hanger Lane subway station (Central Line) which is convenient for travelling to central London. I would not mind staying there again but it would not be my first choice.…
I would avoid this hotel. You would be better off in the premier inn down the road. Firstly the car park has no security and a police warning of car theft and vandalism. So wouldn’t count on a safe parking experience. We stayed 3 nights for a event at wemberly stadium. Easy to connect the tube line was on strike when we visited but easy to get to with the bus stop. Getting to central London is about 30 mins via tube. It sounds ideal for visiting in the car for events at the stadium but the car park is insecure and you will pay £18 per day plus congestion is £15 per day. We stayed 3 nights not once did anyone clean the room. You would expect this as a basic requirement. What they don’t mention is you have to ring them evey day and ask to get the room cleaned and new towels etc. not something you expect when this is a basic of the cheaper hotels and B&B in the area. I had to go and pay for my room service and order at reception. I even had to pay £5 tray charge I may as well of waited and taken it myself it completely made it pointless. You may as well eat in the resturant it will be cheaper and less hassle. Rooms are basic, you get basic amenities and basic service. Honestly you may as well stay in a travel lodge, premier inn or holiday inn which will be much cheaper. It’s not worth the extra monetary value.…
