I stayed here while in London for work. Hotel staff are excellent and very helpful. Hotel bar and lobby area is very nicely decorated and modern. There is also a baggage drop area, so no need to carry a holdall around with you all day even if you have checked out that morning, they will keep it for you. Room...

Stayed for one night as part of a London theatre break. The hotel is within short walking distance from Kensington High Street tube station. Check in friendly and efficient. As for the twin room it was no better than good student accomodation with a very tiny bathroom. This year I have stayed in several hotels both in Europe and USA...

This hotel is in a great location and that is what it has going for it. We have stayed in the hotel a number of times and have been disappointed the last couple of times. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Depending on the room which comes down to price the room is small and the bathroom...

This hotel is situated within a 3 minute walk from the tube station and a 5 minute walk to the local shops and restaurants. The hotel is modern and contemporary. Our room was upgraded although looked like a normal double. The room has complementary toiletries, fresh towels, to and safe. The breakfast was brilliant and well worth the money.. filled...

Convenient to many pubs, restaurants, and sights. Safe neighborhood near the tube. Helpful staff. Rooms are very cramped, even by European standards. Comfortable enough bed, but very little space to walk around or place your suitcases. The bathroom was so small I had to place my toiletries on the floor (and I carry very few, so if you're someone who...

The rooms are cramped. No room at the toilet I dont know how a large person would cope. There was no fridge and the coffee making facilities were poor. The bathtub was very high and would be difficult for an older person. No room to place toiletries. No space for luggage .

Perfect location, everything one needs is right around the corner on Kensington High Street. The Tube station is a block away as are several bus stops. Small but very nice room, immaculately clean, friendly staff, good shower, comfortable bed. The morning buffet was good, it provided a great variety. WiFi is only free in the lobby. To use pool and...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
