Absolutely no services were available, including the conventional touch up to the room. All services were charged highly. Their website nowhere mentioned that it was an unserviced apartment, and when we got there the reception was like we only change it recently so haven't updated out website yet. Room was smaller than it looks. The only plus point is its...

Checked into apartment without hassle. While furnishing is good, the size of it was below expectation. It was also disappointing that the washing machine is located centrally outside the apartment. Service at the front desk was great providing advice on transport and attractions. We enjoyed the nice neighborhood and the location which to us are the key benefits of the...

This is a good hotel located in a pleasant and convenient location. With the Gloucester Rd tube station nearby and with numerous museums and parks within a short walk, this is indeed a good place to stay. Service is also superb at this hotel.

We took two rooms here just before Christmas. The hotel/apartment was comfortable, clean and staff were friendly. Location is handy to museums and shopping within an easy 5 minute walk. Nearby restaurants were a mixed bag but plenty of opportunity to dine easily and well.

The hotel is in a perfect location, near the museums, the shops of high street Kensington, and Knightsbridge and all the restaurants of Gloucester road, south Kensington. Near to bus stations and underground. The staff was very helpful always eager to help. Cleaning was at very good standard:)! We will definitely return back next year!!!

Citadines is a very well presented and maintained hotel with service to match. We were upgraded to a full apartment that was arranged over two floors; sitting room and kitchen on the ground; bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. All the fixtures, fitting, toilettes etc were of a high quality and well appreciated. No complaints and would certainly book again.

I stayed at the Citadines South Kensington apartments for 5 nights for during a conference. As I joined the loyalty programme, the overall price for 5 nights in the deluxe studio apartment was more or less the same as for a single room at a nearby hotel. The apartment was so much more comfortable than a small hotel room -...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

“We had 2 twin beds upstairs - you could keep them together if you are a couple or move them away from each other. Downstairs there was a sofa bed - very comfortable. TV upstairs and downstairs, 1 bathroom. Kitchennet - microwave, cooker, dishwasher, all needed plates and cutlery. Good quality, nice and clean. Very pleased.”
