All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Great location only a five minute walk from the underground. Shops around and Tesco express and Boots for last minute buys. Gorgeous room with lovely view to the park. Will definitely stay again when next in London.

great location and very good price. Old and not clean. Steep stairs, but there is an old functioning lift. staff was very friendly. Wifi was hard to get on to but eventually worked. No breakfast available. Room was basic but alright. Very old building and little maintenance. Low budget feel but acceptable.

We called the hotel direct, spoke to Kerri, nicest young lady you will ever see, just could not do enough for us. We arrived early and the room was not ready, they made us very comfortable for a few minutes until it was ready. The room was small by American Standards, but the bed put me to sleep just looking... Don't know why this hotel is getting bad reviews. It may not be state of the art but it's a lovely hotel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. It's a minutes walk to the tube and cafes, shops and restaurants. Portabello market just right around the corner. 5 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. The cost was... More

Better than two star, but not quite three star. Good value for the price. Although breakfast isn't included, tea and coffee making facilities are in the lounge for use any time. Carpet hadn't been cleaned very well

I was quite disappointed from a hotel that charges more than 100 £ per night. The only two things about this hotel is the good location (5 min walk to subway) and friendly staff. What is wrong in this hotel is the room. We got a mini room for 3 people and micro bathroom. The matresses of the beds were... More

Location was excellent very close to Portobello Rd, shops, restaurants, great English pubs with great lunches. The Hotel itself staff couldn't do enough to help, very accommodating and obliging. We arrived in London and due to significant issues with our previously arranged accommodation elsewhere they were most kind and helpful in assisting us late at night, supportive, nurturing and caring.... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
