Stayed here for three nights just before Christmas with the missus and two young kids (4 & 1). I couldn't fault anything at all and i'm a picky bugger! I really enjoyed the quality of the rooms and breakfast. All in all and excellent stay...More
Six of us booked our rooms well in advance so we got a good price. This is a lovely hotel and great location for the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the Thames clipper, which is handy if you are going to the O2 arena....More

Tidy hotel with great staff in a Fantastic location.
I stay regularly in Novotel’s and this is a good one, ideal for a family base exploring London.
We booked early and got a really reasonable price too
For a family of four in this hotel it was average/poor. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was small. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and the whole room was nicely designed. I am glad that it did have a TV and free...More
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

Not that many hotels have a washer/Dryer for Guests use. Most offer a Laundry Service and have a price list per item. Alternatively use a local launderette service. When I lived and worked overseas. I just used to buy a small packet of washing powder. Do the washing in Bathroom sink and try in the Bathroom.
I can confirm the hotel does offer an iron & ironing board in the room.
