We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. Staff at hotel was very kind and helpful. We had a good view on the Tower and the Tower Bridge (even though only the top part was visible because covered by the Tower). The hotel was conveniently close to the underground station "Tower Gateway". The restaurant of the hotel was great:...

We stayed here for convenience, its near Fenchurch street and close to tube links. This was our chosen hotel for our evening as we could drop bags and travel onto central London to see a show and have a meal. Our room was great with views towards the Tower of London and Tower bridge. Nice room and Modern bathroom. The...

Hotel was excellent with a lovely room and hassle free check-in. All set for 3 days of business accompanied by my wife for some sight seeing and Theatre. Unfortunately trip was marred by chaos at breakfast time on every day - There were insufficient staff on duty to set places and the wait for tables and for the single coffee...

This hotel proved to be an excellent choice. Both, the stay at the hotel & its location were excellent. London Underground is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, which proved to be exceptionally helpful. The hotel rooms comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The buffet breakfast is good. There are 2-3 nice pubs in close vicinity, one of...

The location was excellent as we had done a day of sightseeing after an early train from Birmingham. It allowed us to be in a great location for the Tower of London visit the next day. Tube station right near the hotel, plenty of good family chain restaurants all within a short walk, zizzi, p express etc. Good friendly service...

Stayed with Mrs. DadofOne and daughter for 2 night break. Great welcome with a little key ring gift for daughter and bag storage whilst we waited for the room to be ready and headed out. The room was too hot as the temperature was unseasonably warm and the hotel has no air-conditioning during the winter. It was a little bit...

Hotel was ideally situated for my trip. It was clean, tidy and the team were very and helpful just what expect from a Novotel / Accor residence. The gym was a bit small, however, I got my through my daily session without having to wait for any equipment.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
